You could try the soy nuts (they are restricted but might handle the crunch craving), or some of the nut-flavored bars.

Yeah! That's a tough one for me too as I love nuts! All kind of nuts! And pop corn! Oh God how miss pop corn!

The soy nuts are a good substitute to peanuts.

To get a salty fix you can do vegetable chips such as zucchinis, kale, etc and try lots of new spices.

When I first started ..this is weird but I would go to the store and have the wafting of the smells satisfy me!! hubby looked at me strange but I would pick up the Large M&M bags or go my desserts and that smell satisfied me.
I now bake cakes and make other things that I can not eat and the smell and handling them helps me !
I think smell is a large part that makes food enjoyable ,sometimes walking past a bakery and smelling those awesome smells puts a smile on my face!
I guess cuz I live with 3 dogs I have learned how powerful the Nose really is!
Good Luck,
Roo2

Is funny how the things we think we would be craving like pizza or ice cream isn't what I miss at all. I miss fruit and milk!

I totally agree. My daughter and I love grapefruit, and they are in season now. At least I can still enjoy the smell of cutting into it, even if I'm not able to eat it.

Cheese and fruit for me. I don't even crave sweets. But I DO get a "smell" fix when I go to the grocery store first thing in the morning and they're baking the fresh breads. I love that smell, and it is kind of true, sniffing it seems to curb any real I MUST EAT THAT cravings. I've even sniffed the bread when I'm making lunches for hubby and kiddo. Cheese smelling doesn't work, though.

Part of being on this plan is learning to live without the things that made us fat in the first place. I definitely overindulged on nuts, popcorn, cheese, and various other items. I really try not to focus on what I'm missing but what I'm GAINING! A smaller body, more stamina, better health, the list goes on.
