Default Motivation Buddy Needed!

I started dieting a different way recently and I think it's a really good approach, but part of it is not talking about it with friends and family. It's a good idea because messing up on a diet is much worse when everyone is watching you. I made keeping it a secret pretty hard for myself too since I've talked about it to everybody for like the past 4 months.

Anyhow, now I don't tell anyone about joining the gym or eating more healthy and it's really tough keeping motivated when I don't have anyone cheering me on or keeping me accountable.

Does anyone want to team up and keep each other on track with working out and eating right? We could also share tips.

I wouldn't mind teaming up with you!

It's been hard for me to get back on track after I took a 3 month break or so. My family has really bad eating habits, and I try to not let it affect me, but sometimes its hard when there's all this junk food everywhere.

I don't like sharing with people that I know that I'm trying to lose weight because I feel like they would be scrutinizing my every move. I could definitely use someone to help keep me accountable!

I can definitely empathize. 2 years ago, I made a serious attempt to change my lifestyle and lose weight and it worked. I was so excited and proud and couldn't stop blabbing about every part of my journey to everyone; family, friends, coworkers, even strangers at the gym!
And then I gained it all back and some. I've been yo yoing for the past year and while I'm determined to lose the weight again, I'm not ready to share the process this time around. That said, I need accountablity buddies too. I'd be happy to share some motivational PMs & check in weekly or biweekly on your progress if you're willing to do the same

I would love to be a motivational buddy! I need one myself, no one in my family cares about what they eat so sometimes I find myself falling back into that habit and I don't want to. I want to be healthy for good this time, I can't remember the last time I was a normal weight. Did you want to check our weight every week?, or our diet?. Let me know how you want to do this

I'd like to get in on this one too, I live alone so no one to see if I decide to stuff my face with cake but if I have to come and tell all on here the next day, it might make me think twice.

I have a great page for motivation with tons of people trying to lose weight or just support others like us... i also have recipes, pictures, health info, beauty info and tons of other stuff.... we do weight loss challenges just like on here.
