Question IP Egg Package

I am new to the forum and also new to the diet.

I was just curious if anyone has tried cooking the egg in the microwave? I have cooked real eggs in the microwave and figured it would probably work similar, but wanted to know if anyone has tried it.

The reason why I ask is I only have a microwave at work.

Thanks in advance!

I believe I have seen some posts about microwaving the omelette packets - not sure of the time/temp though. I do know you can make them ahead of time and reheat if that is an option for you!

I shake it up, microwave in a big bowl for 1:30 stir and micro for another 1:30. It puffs up, but tastes fine. You will need to experiment with your microwave.

Nite-the fine herb and cheese omlette is much tastier than the plain. You may want to add some herbs and spices!

i never could fully enjy the fine herbs one. i had to mask it with a pound of hot sauce and other spices haha....i prefer the plain because i just add my favorite spices and im good to go...although some days its hard to stomach the omelette. other days i love it.

YMMV!! Something - probably a tiny bit of cumin, triggers a gag (and beyond) response when I eat the Herb and Cheese omelet!! Only made that purchase mistake twice....

Everyone's tastes are so different! I love the herb and cheese omlette. I always sautee a bunch of mushrooms and mixed peppers and garlic first, then I add the egg mixture. I also add a little salt. It comes out pretty good to me and is filling. I have it once or twice a week for lunch.
