Default Weekend from hades

The last three days have SUCKED. We went to visit my dad to get a new mattress that was from my Grandfather and the day was...lousy. We went to dinner and I was good, I just got a salad, but halfway through my dad got into a fight with the manager- the guy was a jerk and my dad doesn't handle things all that well all the time. It was traumatic and awful and we left after I had only eaten half of it. We took home some of the food and I had a bite of the chicken parm and I was sick for two days, having to go to school last night after vomiting all day was not fun. I just wanted to complain so yeah. Then I find out today that one of my assignments is to go to dinner and review a restaurant. Le Sigh. Dieting is not easy when your a culinary student. Then my friend left a whole gallon of Thin mint ice cream in my fridge for me, which was nice of her, but BLAH I want to eat it and I can't. Talk about a test of willpower. Then I find out she also left me "crack" cookies (those frosted sugar cookies from grocery stores that aren't super great, but they are super addicting and if you eat one you just keep eating them). Then my fiance ordered pizza tonight. Seriously, what's with all these people and leaving me food. I feel like I at a whole cow because I had some of the pizza and now I feel all guilty. Thanks for listening.

Oh that does suck What a trying weekend! For the assignment though, could you try reviewing a restaurant's healthy option? And make the spin on how to look for healthy options when eating out and whether this restaurant is making it easier/harder? I guess that could draw attention to your own plight to get healthy and lose weight, which you might not be comfortable with, but it might make it more interesting and relevant to you.

I hate it when that happens with food! And if you throw it away, it feels like such a waste. Do you visit anyone like parents or friends that you could take some of the ice cream to? Like, say you will bring dessert one week and share it, possibly leaving it at their place afterwards? Dont feel guilty about the pizza, I would totally be in the ice cream if i was you!

Wow, sounds like a lot of crap. It sucks not having more supportive people for your weight loss.
