Default Cal intake today is pretty low..but the thing is, I'm not hungry?

So yeah. Today I've only eaten about 600-ish calories. I'm just..not hungry, you know? I'd drink a bottle of flavored water, and I'm fine. Is that bad..?

It's probably not a sustainable amount of calories long term if that's what you mean. That's pretty darn low!!!

How many days has it been that low? What's your activity level? Do you feel light headed? What foods does that 600 cals consist of?

Are you light headed? What did you eat today?

If it's a day or two, meh. Just make sure you're getting all your nutrients in. I don't like to force myself to eat when I'm not hungry.

I wouldn't worry about it if it's just a rare thing.

IMO, like the others said, that low here and there is not a big deal. My main concern at this point is just the food itself. Empty calories for the most part. So not only few calories, but very very few nutrients.

Seriously? I'm one of the most liberal people I know when it comes to eating "healthy" but this is not good nutrition. Even the guy who did the twinkie diet at least drank a protein shake and a can of green beans every day....

Good nutrtional habits are the foundation of losing it and keeping it off. I see nothing good about what you ate today. A single day means nothing but sting together several days .... there is a reaon the saying "old habits die hard" is a saying ...

For starters if you are just not hungry today, roll with it. If it goes on beyond 2-3 days, start to look around

Was today an abnormal selection of food for you?

I find that occasionally usually near TOM, I can not stomach the same foods I eat the rest of the time. I used to think "oh I crave carbs" because isnt that what you are supposed to crave? But the truth is there is a 2-3 time that I simply cant stand meat. Cant stand a lot of the healthy foods. I dont actually CRAVE the crappy foods so much as they are all I can tolerate. And now that I am getting better in tune with what real hunger feels like I will often eat very little on those days and sometimes low quality foods.

Also if I have been eating one way for a while (i.e. low carb) and suddenly switch to a different diet (i.e. pizza) my appetite plummets. It's why all diets work for me for a week. If i continue on that path the appetite roars back

I was going to say it's no big deal and not to worry about it until I saw this...

If this were to happen again (I understand it's late now) I'd throw in a few vegetables and some eggs. Something substantial nutritionally, whether you are hungry or not.
