I'm doing everything I can think of to take off weight. Joined a fitness program and a gym. Signed up for local Shape Up program and now I will check in here. I would love to lose 50 pounds, but 20 within the next 10 weeks would be awesome, and I think doable. I am doing the Diet Solution, or Beyond Diets Program developed by Isabel De Los Rios. It's tough to get started as you have to clean out your cupboards and replace with only organic, whole foods. I started last Friday and plan to weigh myself once a week.

Anyone else here on that program?

Hi welcome! Congrats on getting started on the program. I was definitely interested in the diet solution, but refused to buy any of the books to get started, So resorted to plain calorie counting, which is working very well to my surprise sounds like your program is good, keep us updated on your progress. Again, welcome!!

Welcome!

Good job on taking the big step! It's completely worth all the hard work in the end. The only thing that stands out to me is 20 pounds in 10 weeks. You are not severely overweight to being with, so well the goal might be doable, please don't feel bad if you do not make it!

Bigrhody, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join!
