Talking Potty Question

I am trying to be a good girl and drink my water....well, one 8 oz. glass and I am in the bathroom at least 3 times in an hour. Is this normal? With even 6 glasses of water I honestly cannot count the times I pee in a day! No kidding. Is this normal or is my bladder shot? I can understand getting it out of your system, but really, will someone clue me in--does every one else go "all the time" when they drink 6-8 glasses of water? I have done this for weeks now and my body is NOT getting used to it.

Yes, your body will get used to it - how long depends on how much water you drank before you started WW. I go probably 6-8 time per day and drink 96 ounces.

I agree that your body gets used to it. Just keep drinking water--you need it.

Susan, I just looked at your stats--what an inspiration. Keep it up.

Also depends on your bod.... Since I started drinking a truckload of water, I can barely make it past 2-3 hours before I have to go again. We're all different and some of us have small bladders.

HI!

I try not to drink too much water during the day at work, my bathroom breaks are very few and far between. So I do most of my water after 4:00, yes I feel like I am going every 15 min. until bedtime but its what I have to do. DM

did you have the bathroom problem before, or has it just been since you have been drinking more water?

cuz if it's been around before the water increase, you might want to check with a gynecologist and make sure you don't have fibroids or something pressing on your bladder. (i just say this cuz my sister was recently diagnosed with this).

I am just now starting to not go so much after about a month. But I still go at night more than I used to, even if I stop drinking a few hours before bed.
