Default Thursday Moaning 2/13

So, who else has insomnia today? I WANNA PLAY!!!!! This really is ridiculous... ME starting the daily! It's even too early for coffee!
Well, I hope all you northern chickies will please take back all that #$%^ single digit freezing air you sent us last night - our windchills were <0, and I just DON'T LIKE IT!!! Please take it on back home to you! I know that you think you are being kind and generous and sharing, well, TAKE IT BACK - DON'T BE SO NICE TO US

It's now time to see if maybe I can get back to slumberland... that is, if dh will stop his noisemaking I'm getting tired of beating him up and turning him over

Have a good day earlybirds, and stay warm........

Slept OK but now am ready to bundle up and take off for Kingston. This is "fur stylist" day and the earlier Lucy gets there the faster she will be done. My pal Rob may be picking her up if it works with his schedule.

My house is absolute chaos with furniture in the kitchen and two rolls of flooring in the diningroom. I love my new flooring and sure hope Kevin can get the back room done today. The bathroom might get done Friday then! He did a lot of odd jobs yesterday morning that sure improved things - like fixing sticking doors and a doorknob that comes off! Today will be the big day! he even has a "young lad" coming to help!

Harry is making coffee so I'd better move the butt!

In woke up at 4:45 and dedcided I had too much to do to sleep any longer. Now I am ehausted and want to go back to bed!
Sorry Sonogranny but we have so much cold air we have to send some away. How about I send you the fresh 4 inches of snow we awoke to! Your granddaughter is so sweet!
Congrats Taz on staying the same. I have put my scales away until a week from Friday. There is so much junk in this house for Valentines day. Hubby is taking me out tommorow night and I know that cheescake will be calling at me. I know I will cheat and will restart induction Saturday.
Good luck with your tooth Debbie!
Pooky Super Walmart is like 4 Zellers stores put together. We went to one in Maine a few years ago and I shopped for over 4 hours! I am sure the craft section was at least the size of half of one Zellers. If the exchange rate wasn't so bad we would go back.
Leenie it sounds like your body needs a day at the spa. My SIL and I are going next week for body scubs. I actually am not that comfortable with it but I have Rosacea and my cheeks are so red. It doesn't matter how much mosturizer I use I still look like I am sunburned. I tan so that it helps with the redness.
Hope everyone else is okay. I have to go peel a few dozen bandaids of Jacob. Nanny brought him 5 packages of all of his TV pals yesterday to make him feel better. Not sure how bandaids will help the flu but whatever Nanny brings can't be wrong

Tammy, my dd thinks band-aids are the cure for cancer! Aren't kids a trip? Sono, you get up entirely too early for me! And Taz does too! Ruth, I want new flooring in my living room. Could you send a couple of your lads? Pleeeeeeeze?

Today is last day of school til Tuesday, they are having Valentine's parties at school AND daycare. Anyone want to keep a 5 year old tornado tonight? I pay well! Other than that, it's same old same old today. Hoping to get rid of the tummyache, or a call to the doctor is in order. I am, after all, allergic to pain.

Love you guys!!

Good Morning everyone!

Today is the day to pull all the rabits out of the hat. Miree has been in a temper for the last two days because she can't go see her best friend Skyler, a sweet little boy just 6 days older than her. His mom works as a supply teacher for 2 boards so she is really kept hopping! Miree is sooooo disappointed, I'm thinking of things we can do together. Disappointment is so hard for kids to take, isn't it?

Dh didn't come home last night, he was busy at work all night long! Called him when I woke up and he said he tried to come home at 4 but the car was frozen even though he had plugged it in. Turns out, there wasn't an electricity to the power bar he plugged it into so now he has a crew of guys out in the cold trying to fix the darned thing. So now he's talking to his boss and giving him a report of the stuff he found out last night (work problems) and then begging him to give him tomorrow off if he works till noon today. Can't see how his boss will say no?

As for me, just trying to stay sane--a tough task, but hey, someone has to do it around here!

Sono, your grandbaby is so cutie!!!

Sherrie, our daycare party is tomorrow, I'm figuring Daddy will handle it, know what I mean?

Oops...gotta run I heard a crash! in my living room!

I'm not sure what hurts worse today--my head or my back! I'm not even sure WHY my back hurts--we had freinds over last night from Florida and I guess sitting at my table downstairs must have just about killed me!

Goodeforme--I have a 4 year old named tori--we call her Tori-nado so I know where your coming from!

My Doctor just called about the bloodwork I had done yesterday--fast wasn't it?--anyway-my total cholesteral was down--220 last year at this time--194 this year But my LDL--bad cholesterol-was higher than normal--I don't know what it was compared to last year--so she is sending me a list of foods to avoid. I'm sure--eggs--sausage--steak--my main foods will be on it!! --Too bad--I'm sticking to this woe so I'll take my chances!

TammyFancy--I'm weighing in next Friday too--at the Doctor's office--we will have to post our losses!

Well--off to take some motrin!

Anybody know how to fix drywall? I thought I would move my bed and broke the light fixture and smashed a hole in the wall. I have a canopy bed and misjudged how tall it is!
I may need somewhere to live tonight!

Woke up with awful stuffed sinuses. It is now 1:14 I am at work and I am exhausted, stuffy, short of temper...

Have to bring my baby Bartie (cat) to the vet tonight too. It's gonna be a long one!

UGH.

Sherrie - I came home sick too. They voted me out of the office.

Tammy - try diynet.com they can teach you how to fix anything.

Any ideas on something I could make DH for Valentines Day? We said no presents until the taxes are paid, but surely I can make something, right? Goodness knows I have enough craft supplies around here. I'm off to take more meds and then surf the net for ideas.

Dyan make a coupon book. We have a $10.00 max on Valentines. So I made Hubby a coupon book for things like a nag free day, let him sleep in two weekends, etc. One year I also cut out mat board and made a framed collage of us over the years. He loved it. I think it cost me about $8.00.
Speaking of Hubby he came home and caught me trying to fix my mess. I was surprised but he didn't say much except I was doing it wrong-he is a carpenter. I am cooking his favorite for supper and he will fix my hole in the wall!! All are happy.
mis-its a weigh in date. I am not expecting a lot lost thanks to Valentines Day.
Hope everyone is in bed resting - I would say have chicken noodle soup but I bet chicken broth will help too!

Hi all I thought I was the only one who woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get to sleep. I woke up at 3:00 AM and itched all over. I'd just get that to where it wasn't bothering and my right knee felt like I'd been running a marathon all night. IT is 12;11 and I feel like I've been up for 2 days.I think I'll nap when my boys go down for theirs after lunch. Hope everybody has a terrific day. Judy

"DUDE WE GOT A DELL!!"

Yup--the new computer came today-it is sitting here glaring at me in its box--wondering how it is gonna get paid for--I'm not sure the men in the brown trucks were to nice to it--so it wants to stay here!

Boy--my back is a killer today--it hasn't felt this bad since I was lifting patients at the hospital!! It is my lower back--but thankfully I do not think it is my kidneys--it seems to be centered in the middle of my lower back--HELP!! I asked my hubby if he kicked me last night--not that he remembers he says!

I've been wanting something sweet today--not sure what or why--probably because the kids are coming home with all these dang valentines treats! You know--I could have a Reese Peanut Butter Egg--it only has 9 carbs..... what do you guys think??

I have steak out for supper--maybe that will curb my seet tooth! lol

Well--have a wonderful night ladies!
