I am sick and tired of winter! I hate being cold all the time! I hate having to spend money on keeping my butt warm and quite frankly, I think that architects need to design mud rooms the size of a living room for all the winter gear we have to slough off every time we come in from the deep freeze! And I am hating snow--I can't even look outside my front window because it's half way up it! Dh almost broke his butt cleaning off the roof of the infernal stuff and it's still caking on almost daily! Do you know that Ground Hogs' day passed unnoticed around here? Because it was too darned cold! I'm not surprised the groundhog wouldn't come out, his little tail would have been froze off! The air is so dry my skin looks like an alligator, you could make a mop out of my hair and my nails look like The Night of the Living Dead. On top of that everyone is sick--snotty noses, fevers, oh and let's throw on the Norwalk for good measure! I lived in the bathroom for 3 days!
Seriously, I am considering a trip to Aruba, warm, beaches, tans, cabana boys bringing me drinks--that's the life I want, not this Arctic ice patch I'm living in! Calgon, take me away........

My job is boring boring boring. There's no good looking men here (not that I want them, I just wanna look ) Why does "good" food have to taste so bad ROFLMFAO ! AND how come when I think I look good, I really look like a bucket of *%#&@% !!!! ? ROFLMFAO......this is actually fun.

Everything that I did seemed extra hard for me yesterday. I felt very conscious of lugging around my hulking body! It was awful! Getting in the car, getting out of the car, putting on that damn seatbelt! Can't I just be confortable already!? That's all I really want!

Oh pooky thank you for starting this thread. I could fill pages of why I wish I was somewhere warm. Someplace where a 5 minute trip to get milk didn't take 15 to warm the car and get dressed. Someplace where I didn't need to scrub the floor 10 times a day to get the slush out. I dread not only the icy walk to the mailbox but the $800.00 power bills that are there!!
I could go on forever. My frequent flyer miles are ready and I have friends in Bermuda. I'll be ready to go in about 10 minutes

Deb, how bout going outside and blowing some of your spring a little east? I am freezing my a$$ off every day, let's not even talk about at night! I too have the dry skin and frizzy hair and the static electricity that shocks my hand every time I touch the fridge door (hey, is that a good thing???) or another person. I only live 5 hours from you, what's the deal!?!
Well ladies, I will try to send some of my weather your way We think it is cold when it goes below 75! But don't worry....while you are enjoying your spring we will be sweltering in 100's, by summer 105 will seem like a snow storm.
I also want to vent about my taxes. We owe a ton this year. We provide 99% of DSS's support but can't claim him, so the ex is getting back $2400. for sitting around on her fat butt (I guarantee she's bigger than ANY of us, maybe 2 of us combined) and not getting a job. Oh, but she goes to school - which the state pays for, and she gets food stamps (more than my entire monthly food budget). I have nothing against SAHM's, but she needs to contribute something to the world. If she was an involved mom, I'd have no problem, but DSS is always going on about how he's lonely and all she does is watch TV, how she won't play with him. And their house is literally a sty.
I'm sick and tired of my sweet daughter being sick and tired. Poor kid just can't seem to get well. And, somehow during this whole sickness thing, I have become the worst mom in the whole world according to the in-laws. Transcript from phone call from MIL - "Who do you think you are? You don't know anything. Get that child to the doctor now. What's wrong with you? Don't you love that girl?" I so wish I was kidding! Even though I did call the doctor and they didn't want to see her because every kid around has this and they advised me how to handle it over the phone, it's entirely my fault my kid has the flu and if I were a better mother DD wouldn't be sick! Geez Louise!
Send all your snow this way! I'll take freezing temps, snow to my eyeballs and being stuck here for days. I'm venting about not enough snow! Poor me.
