Talking Odd question from a newbie

i'm new here.

i have a question.. might be kinda odd and i might not be wording it correctly because i don't fully understand it myself..lol
but here it goes..
i'm 22, 4'9 and weigh somewhere between 175 and 180. i'm overweight, obese according to doctors.
boobs! that's what my Q is about. i buy 36c bras and they seem to fit me quite alright. yet, they don't look like they're 36c.. i haven't measured them in a while (i probably should...) but i remember i did like a year ago and i got something like 34aa...?? i started googling what this could mean but didn't find much.
so i don't really understand what this all means.. i've always been self conscious of the twins.. one's kinda bigger than the other as well. i know that's normal but still.. guys like 'em, so that's a plus i guess..lol.
so if anyone has the same issue as me or has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have definitely known over-weight people that are relatively flat chested. It doesn't always go hand in hand...

Go to the intimate apparel department and have someone properly measure. Also there is a lot out there about poorly fitted bras and you can just look at how your bra is fitting and supporting.

Regardless of their size now, you are still a. young, so they will change, and b. if you drop weight and/or workout, they are probably going to change as well.

I think you should first measure yourself at home and use a few websites to assess your size.

Does your bra feel wrong? I presume it does otherwise we wouldn't be talking about it :P

Then go down to a proper underwear store and start trying out the bra's, to see which ones fit the best... Different models and different brands often require that we up or downsize.

If your bra does fit, if it supports your boobs, if they don't "buldge" over and/or on the sides and if the back part doesn't ride up... Then you are probably wearing the right bra.

I used to buy cheap bras and they wouldn't really fit me well... The wires would sit on the bottom of the boob and not on my "ribcage", so you could actually see the boob from underneath. That and they wobbled a lot, so not quick movements and I had the 4 boob issue... Then I discovered that there are bra's for women with large breasts, and since then... My boobs look better than ever The wire sits under the "fold" of the boob, not under the boob itself, they don't wobble so much and no more 4 boobs

I say go somewhere and get fitted...It's weird, yes....But when my cousin took me after she found out she'd been wearing the wrong size for years (an A when she turned out to be a C or D depending on the type) she thought it would be "funny" to see how off I was. I'm 5 foot tall and was wearing a 42 DDD......well....apparantly I'm really a 40 G! Much more comfortable now and feel more supported wearing the right size!!!! Am also much more encouraged to loose the weight so I can get a reduction and get rid of my back problems!

Yeah I recommend getting fitted as well. I would go into a specialty lingerie store. You don't have to BUY anything, because I know its expensive....but go in and ask to be fitted and then try stuff on. If there is something that fits really well and you like....take a picture of the tags with your phone when the assistant isn't in the fitting room and go find it online for cheaper. I got a bra that they tried to sell me at the lingerie store for $87....for $38 when i ordered it on Amazon.com....

Also, I thought I was a 40 DDD and it turned out I was a 36 G....and the 36 Gs that I own now make me look SO MUCH better. The girls are up in the right place, and I'm not always having to readjust my bra. It's wonderful. I can barely even tell I'm wearing one. =D

Get fitted and measured, but still try on bras and make sure you know the signs of a poorly-fitting bra. Sometimes your measurements will indicate a certain size, but you may end up needing a different size due to the shape of your breasts.

When measured, I should be a 34DDD/E, but I find that actually a 34D fits me very nicely and the right way, according to guides on how a bra should fit. There was too much room in the cups at the larger sizes, which was surprising because I thought I would need the 34DD at least.
