Smile What's for Dinner??

Okay everyone, the last what's for dinner thread has been buried in all the activity on the boards. I for one love hearing what others have for dinner because it gives me ideas when I get bored.

Tonight I'm having Big Mac in a Bowl and I have some chicken marinating in the fridge for Chicken Shawarma with peppers, zucchini & onion tomorrow night!

What are you having?

I'm trying Big Mac in a Bowl for the first time tonight Tomorrow night will be leftovers and then back to white fish. I have discovered McCormick spice blends and I love them. Use them on everything to give it a different flavor. Some have sugar though, so you have to read the labels.

I think I read every label that goes into my shopping cart. My "creole" seasoning that i used to use all the time had sugar so I had to find a different one with no sugars. When I saw it had sugars I was thinking to myself why on earth would you put sugar in with peppers and such, no wonder it taste so good. My son says I take too long when we go shopping now....lol

That's how I am, it's ridiculous. My FAVORITE pickles have HFCS in them. I'm sloooooooooowly finishing the jar (no more than 1 a day and they're mini pickles) because I hate wasting food, but really? (BTW I got the Vlassic bread and butter w/Splenda ones you've mentioned, YUM!)

And the spice was one I have used FOREVER, it's a lemon pepper and herb one, I was devastated when I saw the last ingredient is sugar. Makes no sense, and you would think they would be required to carry a nutrition label on them since they are no longer just dried herbs. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Last night I had pan-seared talapia and okra. I smothered the okra down in about 1 tsp olive oil, adding bits of water when it looked like it was going to stick. I love okra, so made enough to take for lunch today. I have no clue what I'm cooking tonight.

if you do a search it will come up and the recipe is in the recipes link.

I had grilled tuna steak, asparagus and grilled eggplant... walked away from the BBQ and my asparagus was just barely there anymore... oh well

Tonight of supper whatever I can make in 20 minutes before class, probably tuna salad.
