Hi everybody. It is great so many want to volunteer for positions in your club. But very sad that everyone doesn't get a position.I am amazed.I wish I had you all here. Our leader was not there tonight.I did talk to her.She wanted me to do the election but I declined.Told her she was leader and she should do it.I did the leg work tho.I have someone willing to do contests, make up newcomer packets,Secretary,Leader,Co-leader{myself,althoI would like to be weight recorder}treasuer{this is a hard position and it is not a good idea to put someone real new as they do have access to a large amount of money. As much as we may like to think everyone is honest, sometimes that is not true.So we do try to have a member that has been around for awhile for this one position. We stil need backup for secretary, treasurer
Good luck to all seeking posiions.I know you will all do great.
Penny --have a great trip
Redhen--Glad to hear you have joined.I think it is a little unusual to have so many men.I think it is great. We had one but he hasn't been around for ong time.Had a teenage boy who came with his mom but they haven't been around either. You will enjoy being a TOP
Summer--I couldn't help but smile when i saw you were shovelin snow. I have been complaining about the fact that my pool is almost 85deg{I do have solar panels but it has been real warm here}and I can't swim laps because of hand. But I bet the mountains there are beautiful. You do need a break from leader. It is a lot more work than some people realize.
Alannah It's great you are doing RS tapes.I take parts from 4 tapes and make one routine.Works well for me.I now have a 68 min workout.Of course I have to change some of moves for me
Hope everyone has a great day.We do have a great group of ladies here.

I just wanted to wish everyone a great weekend and remember to stick to your plans!!!

I still have to decide what I am going to do next week in our elections. I am going to do some hard thinking over the weekend and maybe call a few of our members to see what they think about me being leader. I already know a few have said I'd be good, but with about 35 members they wouldn't get me voted in.

I'll let you know what I decide - when I finally decide it that is.

Hi all,

Well I am back in full force now. I started exercising again today and I didn't have any problems at all. It really felt great to be able to do that. I needed that. Also I have decided to get back on track mentally and physically so that I can reach my st. patricks day goal of losing 5 lbs. I only have 2 weeks left to do it in. With a lot of hard work and eating right I can make it. I am going to do that. Because then I have my easter goal to meet that I set at christmas. It is right around the corner. That goal is to be a true size 12 by easter. I am going to make that goal also. I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and even though I am still taking the predisone I will lose weight. Now that my breathing is under control. I can do something. I am going to be the next one in my chapter to reach kops status. I am going to show them and myself that I can do it. I have come this far and I will reach my goal no matter what. But sitting on your butt and doing nothing won't get me there.
Thanks for all of your support everyone for the past few weeks. It has been very hard for me. But I am ready to move on and get lighter and get closer to my goal at the next weigh in. I will have a loss next week.

Alannah,

Good luck with deciding what to run for. Remember there are a lot of people here to help you out if you do get leader. I hope that if you run then you have better luck then I did. But I am okay with it now. I was disappointed and ate my way through last night and today is a new day.
It will be good that I didn't get it. This way I can still do programs and contests and others will be helping out also. So that is good. The lady that made leader will do a great job. She wants to get others involved in doing programs also. So that is a good thing. At least she wants to have programs which we need every week.
Redhen,

Congratulations on joining tops. That is great that there are so many men in your group and people of all ages. And also that you can do this with your daughter. That is great you two are working together to get healthy. And you will be there for each other to cheer the other one on when you both reach kops status. I know you will both get there.
I am glad you found us. We will be here for you as well.
Keep up the great work and you will be at goal in no time.

Eleni,

I don't blame you for not doing the elections. It is her job not yours. Sounds like she is trying to push everything onto you. Don't let that happen.

Have a great walk eleni.

Penny have a great trip

More rain is forecast for us, so I'm hoping to get a lot of indoor study time in.

Penny, Have a great time in Mexico! what a great adventure that will be.

Sherri- Congradulations on getting back on track. I find that very hard sometimes-so I admire your positive attitude about it.

Alanna- good luck on your decisions about being an officer-thats a hard one to make.

Eleni, I don't blame for not wanting to do the election either. And I've been meaning to tell you-I think looking for a job is about the worst experience there is-it is SO hard on the ego! Everything ends up feeling like a personal rejection, and even if you can make up your mind its not-it still ends up making you feel like you'll never get a job. Don't give up! It sounds like you have a pretty good defination of what you are looking for-stick to it! Oh, also-my e-mail address is [email protected]

Summer-sorry about the snow-and boy, am i glad its you and not me! i really do not like the snow, so its a good thing i live in the desert! but just think what good exercise shoveling snow is!

Have good weekends everyone! Redhen
