Wink New Year's Eve, Not the only LC there.

I was not the only low carber there And i was being asked advice from a couple of girl's lol. I directed them to this board, lol.

I did find that alot of things that they are doing are the same mistakes i made not knowing not to over do it with the candy bar's & the muffin mix's.

We were all drinking that "New Low Carb Michalob Beer" Everyone seemed to like it alot, Maybe it's all that German blood i have in me i don't know? But I thought it was to watered down. I like a full body beer I just love beer ALOT

One thing i may have over did it on was i had 5 onion wraps, I have no idea what the count on them are? The beers i mat have had 6 of them if that, I stopped drinking earily because i was the one driving home that night. Lucky me i guess, lol.

gee, you've gotten real smart, real fast, chuckie!!!! and it's a shame that beer is so high carb, especiallyh in the summer. oh well. a gal's gotta suffer. i guess.

as for the low carb food, a lot of folks get the idea somehow that they need to buy special food, but ya don't, as you know. a good start is to shop the outside aisles of the grocery store: fresh vegs, meat, fish, dairy and avoid the up and down aisles except to get mayo and olive oil.

what's an onion wrap? it sounds yummy, but onions alone are high carb, and i shudder to think what other carbs are in there. but that's probably what makes them taste so wonderful!

An onion wrap is one of those long green onions and 1 slice chipped beef (packaged kind) and cream cheese. let me tell ya Mmmmmmm so good. You can use the ham also. My daughter like's it made with pickle's instead of onion's.......
