I just took a walk break at work for the first time in months! It felt so good Our office is right next to a river and it is so peaceful! In the warm months I go for up to an hour along the river, but this was my first time at it again, only walked 30 min and I can tell I am not in the shape I used to be
Anyone else like to sneak in a walk during your work day?
Yes!!! I wondered if anyone else here did this...I have an hr lunch break..it doesnt take me an hour to eat my sack lunch so I get up for about 25 mins each day and walk around the neighborhood. Its so relaxing and wakes me up when I start getting sleepy
I work in special education and we don't really get a break, we have to eat lunch in the room with the kids, but they get a half hour "gym" so sometimes we will take them out to walk around. I don't get to really get my speed up, but getting some fresh air and getting out of the classroom is always nice!
I love going for walks behind my office on my lunch hour. Like Pinkberry I have an hour lunch and I live too far away from work to go home and there is a nice neighbourhood behind my office building which is great for walking in. If it would ever stop snowing here I could get out there!
I work at a hospital and so I go for a walk in the neighborhood around it during my breaks with my coffee Really perks me up and refreshes me, especially on a nice spring day!
