Default CAD question

After surfing the boards I have decided to try the CAD diet. Can anyone tell me more about it since I don't have a book yet? (Are there a certain amount of carbs allowed per day?, Can I still use creamer in coffee, Sugar? etc.) Thanks again, Pam

P.S. Do I have to keep a food journal w/CAD?

Way back when I tried CALP. I'm not sure if it's like CAD or not but if I remember correctly you have to eat breakfast and lunch basically carb free and then at dinner, your reward meal, you get to have carbs.

As far as a food journal I think it's a good idea for a few reasons. You can make sure that your doing it right and your getting a good variety in. It's also good to have one incase you hit a platue then you can go back and see if there's anything that you may need to do more or less of.
