HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Gotcha! Am heading to town to buy a fake pumpkin or ghost and then to the Doc to get the word on my lousy 2 weeks of blood testing. Catch you later.

Help yourself to the coffee.

AAAAWWW! You beat me! LOL Well, no matter, I think everyone is going to win the race today except me. Was woken up this morning by an exuberant puppy and and equally exuberant daughter. No rest for mommies!

Drop in,then home for a two hour rest, then daycare Halloween party, then swim lessons, then trick or treating. And if that isn't enough to cram in a day!

Sooner! Nice to see ya girl! Come on back and post on the daily will ya?

Peach! Equally nice to see you! Have fun at Disney!

And where is Chickadee?

OK, so I've called out our lurker friends--yeah,. I know you all check in every day but not post!

Have a fun and safe Halloween everyone!

I'm back........that was quick wasn't it. I just decided the heck with it, actually my son took over one of my huge errands for me. Daughter left her band bag in Dad's car when he dropped her off at school. She needs the bag for practice after school. It's a loooonnnggg way to retrive the bag from Dad's car, but middle son is in school close to Dad's work and will get it for me. Thank goodness!

We are giving out candy bags to all the band members after practice today. I should have put the bags together yesterday, but didn't. Guess we will stuff bags while we sit practice today.

Jiff, 250!!!!!!! You are my HERO!!

peachie, what time will you be at Hartsfield? I think it is just great that you are going to Disney, and flying to boot!! How did you get hubby off the miles? Never mind, don't tell me And....I'm so proud of you, thinking ahead and getting an absent ballot.

Pooky, I would love to see a pic of your little Rosie. Bet she is as cute as a button.

Janice, how ya holding up, no pun intended.

dottie, would love to shop in NY with you, think my hubby would have a stroke if I even mentioned it.

Finally it's cooler here. I'm so tired of humid weather.

Update on the Thanksgiving trip to Florida. If you remember, my middle son did not want to leave "his" house for Thanksgiving. He didn't want to go to Florida with us. Well, I was all prepared to leave him at home, BUT........hubby was not. He just can't leave the boys (21 and 20) home for the holiday alone. So our new plan is, we have Thanksgiving at home and get up Friday morning, drive to Florida and stay until Monday (take daughter out of school for one day.) I really don't have a problem doing that, so that's that.

Well now I really do need to get going.

Angry Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Ladies!

So far its sunny here, we are all hoping the snow holds off til after the trick or treaters are done. Strange, all the adults seem to be worried about the snow.....remember when we were kids, it didnt matter what it was doing outside. There was candy to be had!!!
Still OP, Im having a hard time coming up with alternative breakfasts...getting tired of eggs, and the bacon is just too good, a lb of that for breakfast is too easy. Weigh in is monday, if I make it thru today without dipping into the candy dish, I'll be fine.

Im off for now, have a great day Ladies!

BOO to YOU!

Frosty this morning brrrrrrrrrrrrr! Got oatmeal cooking for Little Jay. We won't be going out this year, he is still too little and would be frightened by all the noise and costumes. He has his spiderman jammies to wear for the day, and I will take some pictures of him in them.

I have stayed on plan all week, feeling much better! Got energy and no tummy probs.

Ruth- when will you be on the island?

Have a SPOOKTACULAR day all

Good morning all. Happy Hallowe'en. I was thinking about the spook night many years ago when our #1 daughter was a tyke eager to go out Trick or Treating with the older neighborhood kids. She wanted to look really really scary so I painted up her face and put the dracula teeth in her little mouth. I turned her to look in the mirror and she started wailing and screaming "Make it go away! Make it go away!". I couldn't convince her that it was herself she was seeing and all the stuff had to come off. I was wetting my pants laughing but trying not to let her see that I was laughing.
I'm in here unusually early today because I just had to share my good news with you all. I am in ketosis! Ta DA! Gosh, it feels so GOOOOOOD! I can even live with the bad breath just to have this surge of well-being and unaccustomed energy.
BTW, if any newbies want to check out some really great recipes, especially for breakfast alternatives, go to the Atkins Friends website. http://www.pfangserver.com/bbs/ There are some dandy cheesecake and custard recipes that make yummy breakfasts. There's even a breakfast pudding made with ricotta cheese that sounds pretty interesting (like warm oatmeal in taste and texture). They also have a very vital and informative forum. I just printed out an entire thread (16 pages) from their Past Amazing Posts forum entitled Menu Staples - Make Ahead Foods for the Week - full of great plan-ahead cooking ideas.
I'm not trying to lure anyone away from this site. I only go there to get inspiration and ideas but it's really worth your time to check it out.
Well, I have to get busy painting my wooden step stool. I was so relieved when I realized that I don't have to have it ready until NEXT Thursday instead of today. Whew! No way was that gonna happen.
Catch you later, I hope.

Just a quick in and out ya'll!

Please forgive me for not addressing everyone but my own selfish self!

Yesterday was the cardiologist, today the surgeon and tomorrow the stress test. My left breast is messed up - surgeon feels because of the urgency in trying to close me up quickly due to BP and HR! Left breast has to be redone for dead tissue "after" the cardio test goes ok.

I'm a bit stressed and apoligize!

We also flooded again - after just putting new paint, carpet and vinyl in hte office two weeks ago! Aw well, easier to replace the carpet than my left boob! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk to ya'll tomorrow! I could use some cardio prayers if ya'll have time!
