Default Livestrong Daily plate

I just recently started using Livestrong Daily Plate. I have fallen in love with the ease of the site compared to Spark.
Does anyone pay for livestron? Is it worth the money? Or is the free version jut as good as the pay version?

Thanks!

I love it too compared to spark. I haven't tried the paid version but I don't think I'm missing out on anything on the free version. Adjusting your goals might be helpful i guess...

I use it, but also the freebie. I am pretty impressed with it.

I am absolutely addicted to using this site! I only use the freebie as well. The only downside for me is needing to have access to a computer all the time. I live in the dark ages, so I don't have a mobile that would take the Livestrong app...

I utilize the free version. It suits my needs just fine, & I honestly don't think you're missing much by not investing in the payed version.

I use it and I have the gold membership - which isn't really worth it! If I could do it again, I'd just use the free version. That said, I love it, and it really helps me to track my calories. I do find, however, that their fitness calculations are too high (based on my HRM) so I track my calories burned manually instead of using their calculations.

I use it...and LOVE it! It is so much easier to use than Sparkpeople. My only problem is that there is a lot of inaccurate information on some of the food items, so you just need to be smart about it.

I use the free version and love it. When comparing the free to the paid, there really isn't a lot of difference. So, free it is!

I use it and while I like it more than the other options for entry and the number of items in the database, I wish it had more reports (like caloriecount.com). No reason not to, after all. The data's all there -- they just need to make it available to us.

I tried the 5-day free trial of the gold membership and didn't find anything about it that made it worth paying for. I thought the mobile access alone would be worth it (when I access the website on my droid, it doesn't work very well -- when I click on the food, it invariably chooses to click on the link "underneath" if that makes sense), but the mobile access is different and not very helpful.

I agree with fitkristi that the calorie burn is way overestimated, particularly for running, so I enter all my exercise manually. And as Ashley Nicole says, there can be inaccurate information -- when I can, I always choose the "verified" option, and double check that it makes the conversions correctly (like if I enter grams instead of servings).
