OMG, I'm so happy I could just scream. I took my weight this morning, I'm 3/4 of the way through my first year of my new journey for a better life and I'm down 75 pounds.
To think about it, it's almost two much.
That equates to 15, 5 pound bags of flour
Your average 2nd or 3rd grader
Over 7, 10 pound bowling balls
3 1/2 car tires
Holy cow. Now on to the next adventure-getting to a 100 pound loss by Christmas, that's a little more nerve racking, I have to make it through two holiday seasons. ARGHHH!
Why is it so much easier to put it on than take it off? Seriously.
My deepest thanks to all my supportive 300+ family members, I could have never gotten this far without you.
Pretty good. I've cut out as much processed food as I can, in also in the last 9 months, we've eaten out maybe 8 times, and if we have to I try to head to Jason's Deli. I've also went on a "get rid of as much high frutose corn syrup" as I can, it's amazing how that shows up in things you'd never think would have it. Fruits and veggies are always in the house, junk food is not allowed here, period. I eat when I'm hungry, I don't eat for emotional comfort anymore. Also no more binge eating at night, I think I've done that 2 times maybe in the last 9 months. I feel like crap afterward and it's just not worth it so that's gone. When I'm away from home, I don't eat to make other people feel better, been there, done that, when I'm done, I'm done. Very rarely do I get seconds, I converse during meals and try not to eat in front of the TV. I call that zombie eating. I never eat of the box or bag, it goes in a plate or a bowl. I've learned I'm not a savage, nor should I eat like one.
Through trial and error, I've learned what works for me, and I like it.
Thanks everyone, I could never of gotten this far without you. I can't wait to see what the end of year will bring after another 3 months of hard work and regular exercise.
