Yes, definitely, up to 1400, if not higher. I looked you up, just generally, on
www.freedieting.com, for their calculators, (at my age and height, since I'm not sure of yours) and it has 1950 for EXTREME fat loss at your current weight. Don't set yourself up by going too low!
As far as 1400 goes, that (well 1400 to 1500) is my daily goal, and it is nice - I get breakfast (250), lunch (300), a snack (150) and still have room for a big dinner and maybe even dessert. It's way more doable than 1200.
