Monday-

B- bucket o' coffee and breakfast cupcakes
s-whey protein shake with a little splenda and milk
l-meatballs and sauce(hospital cafeteria food )
d-chicken cesear salad

also a spoon of peanut butter, some sliced provolone, and a diet coke. Lots of iced tea, a good amount of water.

Samsgrandma- that fluke was Suffolk-caught in the Great South Bay! And it was yummy- I spread pesto and drizzled olive oil over it and baked it, and just had a big pile of green beens with it...

Monday. Starting Week 2 Atkins Induction (lovely, LOVELY PURPLE test strips and wonderful mood that goes with being in ketosis)
6:30 a.m. (pre-swim)
1 cup 1/2 decaf coffee
2 egg omelette with cream cheese mixed in and cheddar cheese melted in the middle, cooked in butter, of course.
(didn't get hungry or even think about food until noon, which is a miracle for me. I decided to wait until I was really feeling hunger pangs instead of just eating because it was there)

Lunch at my sisters and wasn't even tempted by the potato salad, dinner rolls and cookies.
Deli BBQ chicken - 2 legs, 1 thigh, half breast and lots of nice crispy skin.
Small mixed salad with oil & vinegar dressing
S.F. Jello

Snack
2 ozl of macadamia nuts

Dinner (planned)
Cheeseburger Quiche (anybody know how many carbs in this recipe?)
Steamed brocolli & butter.

S.F. Jello & whipped cream.

That is all for my posts for tonite, I managed to get a cancellation for an endoscopy tomorrow morning so I am going to bed so I can get lulled to sleep by my husband before he falls asleep! He does this great eyebrow rubbing thing that puts me out like a light.

ladies... here i am, eating about 700 calories a day, and i seem to be eating more than each and every one of you!!! ARE YOU GETTING ENOUGH FOOD????

oh, stop laughing.

but are you getting enough calories to keep yourselves from going into starvation mode?? there was a website posted on the 100 pound club that lets you calculate your basal metabolic rate and your active metabolic rate, and helps you decide how many calories you need to eat [within a range] to lose weight, to stay the same, and to gain weight.

i'll find it and post it here as well.

Jiff, I don't know if that was about me also, but I will count my calories tonite. I'm not a bit hungry, I guess my portions aren't so small...I've just been eating until satisfied. Well, mostly! I don't want to overeat and make my esophagus hurt. Will find out the results after the scope this afternoon!
