My wretched day
Well, I had the scope. It was inconclusive. I do have a fatty liver but all liver function tests are ok. I will hunt down some alternative flushing plan I guess. There doesn't seem to be regular treatment other than weight loss. Another reason to not be fat! Esophagus is fine, so that doesn't explain what the pain is. The gastro doc says sometimes we can't pinpoint it, and to ask my family doc to get me a CT scan. I don't know why he can't do that, but oh well...
I have slight irritation in my stomach. They did a biopsy for H Pylori and I will find that out later. I do have a SMALL hiatal hernia but he said that it probably isn't a source of pain. Another reason to lose weight! So I guess I am still in the same boat.
I don't mind the CT scan. I wretched my head off during the scope. I guess I didn't get quite enough of the wow-baby-look-at-the-colors shot, because I remember feeling poles rubbing up and down and me gagging all that numbing liquid right up and into a towel shoved in my face. I think somebody patted me and then that is all I remember until a very masculine lady was standing over me with a big tattoo on her chest. I asked her what it was and she barks 'A LAKE!' At least I think that was what she said. I hope I didn't offend her. No telling what I said, I was screwed up for a long time. I'm off to bed again...Oh, here's my menu. I think this is right, anyway. Rob sat me up and put a tray on my lap, and I fell asleep again before he brought it to me. Then when I ate it, I don't actually remember that, just him saying WOW, that was fast. Heheh...

S A couple of more Diet V-8’s. Had 3 carbs, but it felt good on my throat.

D Zucchini ribbons and whole wheat pasta with spaghetti sauce and a salad
S 5 spoons of sugar free choc pudding with cream cheese
