A Very Unnecessary Thread [Off-Topic & Narcissistic]

Last night my friend came online. She asked if I was coming to Toronto to watch the soccer game in the pub. I said no. She asked why. I said, "That's a damn good question," and hopped in my car and impulsively drove the two hours to Toronto to make it there just in time for kickoff. Pretty standard Saturday night. But this week.... my guy friends finally made themselves USEFUL and brought a beautiful british boy along with them. Apparently he plays in their outdoor league with them.
However, they very quickly then made themselves un-useful by cock-blocking the ever loving crap out of me! BBB (Beautiful British Boy) and I started talking/flirting... but anytime we managed to get alone, one of my guy friends (of which there were about 15-20 at the bar at this point) POPPED up and starting just chaaaattering away.... I swear, most of them were doing it intentionally. One of my buddies kept winking at me, and starting up new lengthy topics of conversation with BBB anytime there was a lull of any kind with which I was hoping he might use to EXIT. I damn near nailed him in the shin, but I figured it wasn't very lady like. And I was wearing open-toed sandals.
Having 20+ big-brother type guy friends (all big soccer hooligan wannabe guys who support Toronto's soccer team, which is how I met them/came to hang out with them regularly) is AWESOME when you need protection from creeps. ...But they are DOUCHEBAGS when you meet someone you like!!!!
Finally tho, BBB and I got alooooone, and we kissed (eeee!) and he asked me if he can call me later this week (double eeee!). I am sooooo excited, hehehe. He was incredibly sweet and told me that I'm cute and I have "a very nice way about" me. (I was drunk. And chatty. And asking him tons of questions about himself, lmao.)
That's awesome! I'm jealous! I just moved out to Fresno and there's not much by way of cute boys out here. Although I'm still with my guy in San Francisco, but it would be nice to have something to look at when he's not around.

Those guys are either jealous/protective of you or just plain idiots. Can you imagine if you 'cock blocked' (hehehe that phrase just cracks me up) the next time they're hittin on some chick! HAHAHA
Most guys are idiots. I doubt they realized you were into their friend. I really don't think they did it on purpose, and were just oblivious.
Lol, oh man. You'd like to think so. But these guys make cockblocking into a SPORT. They do it intentionally to each other all the time, they're like the anti-wingmen of the apocalypse, it's horrible, lol. And especially with the wry winking at me like, "Hehe, look at you, all wanting to be alone, and me starting up new conversation topics!" Especially since they weren't really talking to BBB that much until he and I were talking together, lol.

Lol, I think it may be a combination depending upon the different guys. And see above! They do it to each other ALL THE TIME, lol. It's insane.

My guy friends do that too, they think its funny. They're like its a test! If he really likes you he'll call you, and stop trying to mack it to you in front of us.
