Default Exercise Week Of 7/1/02

Do I start with the good news or the bad news?

I'll start with the bad news. My housecleaners called this morning and are comming today insterad of Wed as normal because of the holiday. And of course I can't let them come with the house dirty!!! So I had to stay home this morning and get ready for them so I couldn;t get to the healthclub for my water aerobics. I did ride my bike for 30 minutes, and I'll try to go to DS's after work and use his pool.

The good news is... Alvin went on and went to the club anyway!!! I am so proud of him. Exercise is the one thing that has been missing in his recovery from his surgery and I'm so glad he is finally able to do it.

Well,
I am hoping I can join in. I need the motivtion to get out everyday and do something.

I bought a new bike last week and i have been riding around on it. I found a 7 mile loop and it does have hills! I like being outside in the summer and the heat doesn't bother me much. I did it this morning before it got too hot.

I took my older boy on 2 bike rides over the weekend, but we stoped for Ice cream yesterday so I think it doesn't count...lol

Good for Alvin, Barb, I too hope that he keeps it up. it sounds like it has been a bumpy road, but you both have your sneakers on!

Sue: Have fun camping...you should be able to do lots of walking too.
be well,
-L

WoW, my second day and I blew it already! I did not make it to the Y, I overslept. I did need the sleep so I am not too upset. Hope to try for it again Wednesday.

Hope everyone else is getting their exercise done today!

Default Question for someone?

Several of you have mentioned that you do the "Leslie Sansone" walking tapes...... could someone please tell me exactly what they are and also, (most important, how much they cost? From your mentions, they sound like something I might be interested in, IF I can afford them! After all, I'm not exercising like I should, and maybe they will help to motivate me to get going and KEEP going!

Sam's Gma click on the link and you can get the info. I have not used them but have heard really good things about them. I think the cost about $40.

Default Blew it again...

DonDar, I over slep too! I rode my bike for the required 30 minutes and was going to go down to son's to exercise in his pool, but when I called to tell him, he said the pool people were there yesterday and did something wierd to the water and said not to get in it until they came back this afternoon. So day two with no water workouts Tomorrow would be better.
