Default So... What's YOUR Mini-Reward?

What do you do to reward yourself for meeting mini-goals?

In one more pound, I'm buying a replacement dampener pedal for my electric piano. Ten pounds after that, I'm getting myself a fancy new curling iron. At thirty-five pounds lost, I'm thinking about maybe a pretty new bra from Victoria's Secret, since I think I can expect to have dropped a bra size by then.

This works so much better than the last time I tried to diet, when my rewards were food-indulgence (DUMB).

175 lbs: get my hair done (rather than wait the normal 6 months)
170 lbs: get another honeymoon bikini (and put it up where I can see it until June)
165 lbs: more suits and work clothes
160 lbs: a bunch of new summer clothes!

SO excited!

I go on inches... when I lost 48 inches I got a cute hair cut.

I'm sure I'll do something special when I've lost 50 pounds.... I may have to go to a spa!

ella- YES! FINALLY! i've been wanting it for a VERY long time and feel like i finally have the body to put it on. i'm getting a large phoenix that has some personal meaning and is also just something i think will look beautiful on me. i planned to get it almost 4 years ago but i was prego, then nursing, then was fat, then got prego again, nursed again, FAT AGAIN. and now that the weight has come off and i'm good on babies for a while (haha!) i'm finally going to do it!!

as far as the pain, i have 2 more that weren't really that painful. i heard ribs and feet are the most painful and my sister in law got one on her foot that she said wasn't bad (and i thought she was a big wuss!) so i figure, just like egtting fit- no pain, no gain!!

i can't wait

I'm not really sure... I haven't thought about it much.

I'm broke so whatever it is has to be cheap.
I'm certainly not going to reward myself with food.
I can't really say clothes because I've got plenty now, and I don't know if I'll be needing smaller sizes by the time I get to my mini-goal or not...

My reward is being fit when I fly out to visit my boy

I'd like a new haircut for the occasion too...

When I weigh 150, (and hopefully that will coincide when I get paid in March), I will get a haircut and a new Victoria's Secret bra. My big hope is that when I am at goal, I can get a bikini wax without anyone having to lift up my belly to get a flat spot. That's my at goal reward.

Every 30lbs I buy some new type of clothing to show of the part that has lost the most weight.

I don't know what I am going to do for 50lbs (which I hope is this week) probably going to be my hair cut on friday.

At 100 I think I want a party, even though it wont be my goal weight. 100lbs is an amazing feat.

Wow, lots of good ideas on here! I love the idea of having a party!!

I, too, try to focus on non-material or inexpensive rewards. One thing I know will be immensely rewarding is getting in touch with people I haven't seen since the dark days of the highest weight ever.

I'm doing the charm bracelet idea that one of the chicks posted on here last month (can't find the post) anyway, each 10 pounds I add a charm to the bracelet. I am 4 lbs away from one

You know, I always tell myself that I'm going to buy something/reward myself in some way for my latest mini-goal, but I don't think I've actually gotten around to it yet, hehe. Every time I reach the mini-goal, the satisfaction of reaching it in itself seems to be enough! Plus taking progress pictures always provides loads of entertainment, LOL. But I do feel like I should at least do something to celebrate my next mini-goal, since it's a big stinkin' important one--100 lbs! What does one do to celebrate 100 lbs lost? A massage sounds good... Or a manicure... But I feel like 100 lbs merits something REALLY special. Hmmm...

I also have this pipe dream of dying my hair blonde eventually, like as a reward for when I reach goal--just to try it out, and see if I have more fun, LOL! Only problem is, I'm not sure if it would look good on me, though I was blonde as a child, and that usually indicates that you have the right coloring to pull it off (and I have blue eyes!)... But I also looove my natural hair color and texture, and I don't know if I want to give up my uniqueness of having darker hair and light eyes. Eh. Other than that, and buying new clothes/taking in my old ones along the journey, I haven't really thought about an ultimate goal reward. Maybe I should start doing that! Hehe.

I LOVE the idea of a party and the one about the charm bracelet is too cute!

Obviously, kicky new clothes will be in order at some point, too...

For every 5 lbs., I've started to buy something small that I love (an accessory, cute shirt, etc.).

In terms of daily rewards to keep temptation at bay, I've learned that those 100 calorie packs of cocoa dusted almonds by Emerald Nuts are really great. They keep you full, too. That way I don't feel so deprived on the way to my goals.
