Good Morning,

Can't play today, boss is here. How was your weekend?
Mine was good, the usual, cleaning, laundry, food shopping (which I HATE ) Other than that nothing new.

Made a turkey yesterday for dinner w/stuffing and hubby (and the dog) was in heaven. I don't do big cooking during the week because I have no time so this was a treat !! and I love to cook

Have a wonderful day !!
Love, Leens

Good morning all! Well it is still the weekend here in Canada....May long weekend....but I am working days....this is a rough week...Days Mon, Tues, Wed...evenings Thurs, Frid, Sat, Sun. Workshop Mon...so sucks to be me this week but that is ok, want to take some time off in the summer so will work now while the working is there!

Can feel a big ole down swing shaping up....weight program is not going well, can't believe I am doing this to myself, but I shall move ahead today and get back at it.

Hope you all have a good day...and I'll be in touch!

Default Mornin'

Hi Leens and Lizzy and Lurkers,

Back to w*** today.. ugh. Had a nice quiet weekend. Saturday I vegged, napped, and did nothing productive. Sunday, I went to church and did chores.

Made a few new recipes this weekend. Shrimp Egg Foo Yung, 8 veggie stir fry with turkey tenderloins, and shrimp primavera over spinach fettucini. This week I am making cajun blackened tilapia ( fish).. will see how it turns out. The recipe calls for a ton of butter and pan frying, but I am going to bake it and baste w olive oil. Lots of cayenne paper though Leens, please send me the turkey breast and a vat of stuffing.

Got my exercise in yesterday and today, so I am off to a good start for the week. Did well on eating over weekend, except for a few un-authorized lemon meringue cookies. I am not too worried though; They are 4 for 100 cals and no fat. They even had cake at church for a confirmation celebration, and I left.. fast!! No cake here.

Looking forward to our long weekend here Lizzy. Sorry you are having to work so much though. Today is a light day for me at work ( well, lighter anyway). My accounts are primarily in Canada and I know the country is basically closed today!! yipeeeeeeee I can leave all those icky problems for another day.

Hope some of you lurkers will check in.

Hello All,

Busy week ahead of me...and yes it all revolves around food!!!! Having the girls in my sons wedding party here for a "lite" lunch one day to discuss shower plans and then having a girlfriend and her husband to be here for a little pre wedding dinner. They are going back home to West Virginia next weekend to get married so we won't be attending. So I thought I'd have a little something here for them. Wish we could do all of this without FOOD.

I attended my granddaughters dance recital yesterday, although it was 4 hours long (grrrrr) it was worth seeing her three times on stage. She is 5 and is so adorable, loves to dance. She does tap, ballet and gymnastics. I guess you have to be a grandma LOL

Well, the allergies season here is in full swing...need to cut my head off. Then I need to go to the market. That should kill two birds....no head, no headache, no head no mouth. LOL

Have a great day!!!!

Meg
