I just want to say that I don't feel all alone anymore and I so appreciate all of you for showing me the way. As a newbie it is very hard when you get started but, I am gaining strength from knowing that I am not in this all alone.

I have so far laughed with all of you and cried with a few... but, the knowledge is there that no matter what we can all do this

Glad to hear it. I think we all have those moments where we feel alone and that is okay. You voiced your thoughts and feelings and that is what is important. You did something about it is what I'm trying to say.

I can look toward you for inspiration the next time I'm feeling alone. Instead of hiding out and away from the world, I can step up and express myself to get support. *hugs*

I went back and reread my pitty potty... and what you guys said is so true about how many people stop coming back. Their resolution to lose is well, not as much there as some of us and I can now see why people dont wish to respond until they know the person is serious. I do hope though that maybe someone sees this and the other one and realizes that it is worth it to stay on here.

I never choose to respond or not based on if I think the person is serious.. that might be just me though. Glad to see you're still around, and I haven't been posting much lately if you were wondering where that girl who said she would respond to all your posts was:P

I think it is more about being cautious...hoping that the people you chose to invest time with... really feel the sincerity of your heart when you respond and not just blow you off cause they dont like your point of view.

What is sad is that someone gave me their number so we could buddy up and I have texted her and tried PMing her here and I cant reach her. she hasnt been posting either. I'm going to pray that she comes back Bcs, I want to be there for her.

So, I'm cleaning out my cabinets and what do I want to do? I want to get "rid of all the bad stuff" well, what I mean by that is I am unemployed and although I know the stuff is bad for me I want to eat it bcs I'm broke - I know this is my mind trying to trick me into eating bad again and going off plan. So, I havent done it. But, did you guys go through this too?

My post in your other thread sounded a little harsh when I re-read it later, but I decided not to edit it but I probably should have. It's really not that I won't/don't respond to someone until I know they are serious, it's more like there were SO MANY new people coming and going for a few weeks that a person doesn't physically have time to write to each and every person. Since I have joined and quit NUMEROUS weight loss sights in the past, I can sort of tell who's going to stick around and who's just not quite ready. I think you are READY!
