Default Back Again!

Hi everyone!

I posted here on and off last year . . . will you all have me back?

My weightloss efforts last year were a mixed bag - I was "on-plan" about half of the year and lost a little over 50 lbs. I am of course happy about the loss, but I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't stay on plan more consistently.

I intend to do better this year, and I know that reading and posting here will help. It's nice to "see" familiar faces, and also nice to see how many new people have joined since I was last here!

Hi Ria! Good job on the 50 pounds gone! It is nice to say that isn't it?

I agree, once you find your groove you'll be dropping another chunk of your weight!

BTW, I did something that I owe to you guys and myself (of course) I was getting a sandwich at Jimmy Johns (great diet choices on healthy bread) and I USED (I can say this now) to be one of those people who if I saw two items that I liked I'de get them both and eat them both even if I said to myself I will eat the other one for lunch tomorrow (who was I kidding?) anyway, I was there and had to make a choice and I did it. I thought to myself what would my buddies do? and I did it. I made the choice and told myself if I really wanted that sandwich today I could go get it - I didnt want it!!! Yeah!!! Just thought I would share...

Hi Ria, I remember you. You were pretty active on here when I first stated. I'm glad you are back and ready for part 2. I lost my 1st 60 on my own, but found I REALLY needed support to keep going. I sure found it here. It's great to *talk* about weight loss/diet/exercise with people who also want to talk about it...This way I don't totally annoy my friends and family with it. Unless you live the struggle, I guess you can't understand the need to talk about it...constantly...LOL

Anyway, welcome back. Lets "git er done"!

I read your starting-over story and WOW that was an amazing analysis you did. My hat's off to you. I was so messed up when I put all this weight back on, in 2003-2004, I can barely remember a few things from that time--certainly not enough detail to analyze it. Wow! Welcome back!
