Thumbs down #154 Taking Control

Happy Happy Friday!!!!!

We survived yet another week. Any exciting plans for the weekend?

I have a few parties, and we all know what that means. But I will do my best to stay in control. Only I can control what goes in my mouth.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Default weekend plans

Happy Friday!

Weekends plans-we're driving down to Cape May, NJ tomorrow (about 2 and a half hours away) We're taking our son to the zoo, going to lunch, walking the boardwalk, etc. I'm also going to do some shopping I love the gift stores with lace/Victorian type things

I don't know what we're doing on Mother's Day. I'll be surprised (I hope). Just spending the day with my husband and son will be great-I don't care what we do.

I've been not in control of eating AT ALL. Trying again starting Monday. Last I looked, I'd lost eight pounds out of the ten "lose by Mother's Day.' I'd be thrilled by that, if I didn't KNOW that I'm sure I gained back some of it. I'm totally staying off the scale until I'm back on program for two weeks. I just don't want to get all upset and sabotage myself.

Take care,
Sherry

Derby!!! Sounds like you had a fabulous time in Las Vegas. I am so glad, you deserved some time enjoying yourself. So, the plane ride was a bit more comfy? That is so awseome. You must have been smiling all the way there. October is coming up quickly. How's everything coming along? How you feeling?

icewoman..You sound like you got alot going on. Glad you saw the doc, and he's going to help you. I am thinking about you.

bella..tanning beds can be so relaxing. I know all too well how hurtful some places can get. heehe Though am white as a ghost right now. Gota do something about that.

Angry Hi there!

I been busy cleaning the celler today and the back porch a bunch of empty boxes and junk that needed to be tossed. I don't know where it all comes from. I set a new goal 275 by 7/4/02 I am currently 289 this am, I missed my last goal by 4 pounds but that is o.k. I have lost 56 total now since 1/2/02 so I am happy with how I am doing. I hsave a bowling banquet tonight, so back on track tom. Tonights my freebie, to celebrate the end of one goal and starting another. Sounds like an excuse to me. Then home for the weekend to see my parents, really enjoy spending time with them. gbo- I read your post, you have down an awesome job, congratulations ! Hope everyone else has a great weekend, and all the mommies a great mother's day.

OK, I'm feeling better, well still a little sore in those unseen places. (LOL)

The only workout i got today was pulling weeds. Not to bad, But I have more to do.

I'm getting my hair done tomorrow. No kids, it should be fun!!

I was mostly op today. I just didn't drink enough water. Other then that I did pretty good.

Hope everyone else is doing good. I'll see you at chat tonight.

Darlins this will surely be my last chance to post for at least a week as I have so much to do and family arrives on Tuesday. Hubby leaves late Sunday night and will be back just in time to take my Sister back to the airport. This will most probably the end of my hectic time. As far as I know anyway..... after Hubby comes back it will be time to open the pool. Summer is here in full force! 90's all the time. Iy will be a long hot summer but great for swimming. Now that is exercise!!!!!!!!!

Talking

I haven't posted in this thread before... so here it goes. I have been doing weight watchers since about.... 3/5 and I really enjoy the program. I just ate a lot of food tonight... somehow I always manage to go over in points.. I guess it goes to say that you have to plan you meals... for in my life... I didn't plan to fail.. I failed to plan... so starting tommorrow its a brand new day... I want to do this program right and for the last time.. so I can become the person I know I can be!!!

Good mornin to all Well I was a couple hundred cals out of my range last night...blah....must do better today I'm totally jazzed, I couldn't resist an early peek at the scales today, and lets just say I had a BIG loss... won't say how big until Monday, when I hop on again to make it official... I guess some of that must have been water hangin around from TOM... Can't decide if I want to workout or have an off day today.... hubby's second vacation starts today at 4, home until the 22nd whoohoo, we're probably going to spend that time rooting through the entire house, poor guy, goes on vacation to clean... I am totally flighty right now, just woke up, slept in til 8:30, whoohoo!

Well today was a good day. I ate a little more cals then supposed to , but not that many more. I also mowed the back yard (about 1/2 acre)

I got my hair highlighted and eye brows waxed. Then my m-i-l got me a mothers day gift. That was very nice of her. I then got a free dinner from a friends rest. It was great.

Hope everyone has a great mothers day tomorrow. I had a great one today.

Talk to you all later,
Bella23

I'm doing good. I haven't eaten enough in the last 3 days, but, I've been banking those cals for tomorrow. Taking Mom to a really nice restaurant and I plan to eat!

Tammy...welcome and come back often and keep posting...it REALLY helps.

PNG...GET YOUR REAR IN GEAR AND GET YOURSELF BACK IN THE GOOD WOE YOU'VE STARTED!! Your happy 'peek' at the scales is gonna turn real ugly!

Tamara, it was fun to IM with you today. HEY YOU GUYS...YOU SHOULD SEE TAMARA'S BABY!!! SHE'S GORGEOUS!!! And her little boy is adorable, too. Webcams are cool. Hope things at home are getting better.

Bella, OUCH...hope things are 'cooling' off a bit! ~~ You're really doing a great job. Keep it up. Did you notice how 'chattily challenged' I am the chatroom last nite? I could not keep up!! Guess I'll just have to keep trying!

Jennifer, you're a sweetie! If I've said that before, just ignore me...but you are.

Hi to everybody else...I've got to get off this thing! More later.

Love, Gayle

Bleah, hehe, I think we've gone back to the old plan for off days and whatnot, but, to make up for it, I'm working out today, even though it's "free" guess we just can't take going 2 weeks in between... I walked today, to get hubby from work, since I wasn't working myself, and I'm goind to do my crunches and stuff, and in a couple weeks, we're buying a mountain bike, whoohoo SO, now if we could just decide on our plan, maybe I could stay on mine

worked out yesterday and today, food wasn't horrible, but wasn't good either, bad choices, but it WAS a birthday party, I did have the very smallest piece of cake, about 2 bites, we got a small cake so ALL the pieces were small, heh, mine was miniscule packed away some chips, dip and salsa tho, but didn't eat lunch, and a VERY small dinner, so I'm sure I broke just barely above max, I can't even begin to log it...lol

O well, I weighed myself after eating everything tonight, and my gallon of water, and I was only a little above where I was when I said I had a loss, so hopefully tomorrow I'll have it burned away enough to not have the scales show it anymore, I've had super intense workouts, toning yetserday, and toning/cardio today, don't know when I'll take a break, but my body isn't screaming for mercy yet
