Default Worried about my breasts.

I know they're shrinking, and I was expecting it, and kind of glad about it. G bras just aren't that easy to come by. Anyways... I'm just worried because I'm scared of how bad they're going to look after I'm done losing all the weight!!! The skin on my boobs is already loose, making them look wrinkly sometimes.... Do you think the skin is going to shrink after a while with the boob? I duno.. it's just freaking me out!

My boobs have always been a huge part of who I am... no pun intended.... As a chubby girl with low self esteem growing up, having big boobs is what (i thought) was my best physical attribute... and I'm just freaking out that when I lose weight they're going to be hideous!

Well, I won't lie - mine are a bit saggy.

As with all loose skin, some of it will tighten up over time. Working out and building your pecs will help some. As will keeping the skin moisturized. But it won't be perfect.

I'm actually planning on a lift after I've hit my goal weight. I thought about it long and hard and decided that it was worth the money to me. I will have a tummy tuck and a breast lift probably about a year after I've maintained my goal.

Mine are already saggy...... they always have been. Not exactly sure why. Probably just because they're very big.

I'm planning on getting implants and a lift after I reach my goal weight...not that I have a lot to begin with, but I've lost almost 20 pds and I can already tell a difference. I figure by the time I lose 70-80 pds they'll be really small and sagging....plus I want to be a sexy hourglass!

I guess I'm going to have to do the same, maybe not getting them any bigger, because I doubt they will get under a c cup, since that's what I was in grade six. A lift tho, definitely.

Yeah my boobs look like french crepes now. I am now at 34 D instead of 42DD - F. So the difference is big. It's very clear that the surface area (ie skin) is all still there, but the volume inside is just depleted

Definitely implants when I'm done.

Yep, the breast thing is a bit of a bummer. I look pretty darn hot in my new little Victoria's Secret bras and panties...but, um, less than stellar out of them. I have never been HUGE in the chest...my biggest a 38D while nursing, and mostly a C cup when not...except thin, like now, when I'm a 36B...but they still manage to be a little sad and saggy after breastfeeding three kids and losing almost 50 pounds...and, yes, even wrinkly in the wrong position. *sigh*

I'm with Photochick...I'm considering getting a lift after I've been at maintenance for at least a year. I don't really want them bigger...I have a lean, kind of athletic frame? -- sort of broad shoulders, long legs and a narrow waist -- so I think the size of my breasts "fit" me at this weight...but I WOULD like them put back where they belong...without having to depend so much on serious help in the foundation garment department.

My husband, however, says I'm silly. He says I'm beautiful and reminds me that my breasts fed our babies. He did, say, however, that if I wanted to do it, he would support my decision. I don't know...I'm kind of conflicted on this. I've always sort of sneered at the plastic surgery thing...until its me apparently.

Well, I think getting plastic surgery for the right reasons is good, and for the wrongs reasons is bad. They're so expensive though... I don't ever see myself having enough money to be able to have it done... On the plus size, if my boobs are still big enough to consider a breast reduction when I'm at goal weight, and maintained... it's covered. With breast reduction I'm pretty sure that they fix up the breast while they're in there.

Yeah the whole boob thing sucks. Mine have shrunk and I never really had much to begin with. But having small saggy boobs while slim is better then being morbidly obese with some boobies. IMO.

I have friends who have gotten reduction surgery for medical reasons (covered by insurance!) and a lift was included, which is good news. About four years ago I lost over 100 pounds from 240 to ~130, and my breasts are now saggy as heck. I think part of the problem was that I lost the weight too fast and with no strength training, though, so a stable weight loss and building up your pecs might help...

I've given up on ever having beautiful breasts outside of a bra, and am hoping to get a lift way in the future after I have (and breastfeed!) children.

I'm afraid to tell you - but I refer to my boobs as a couple of rocks in tube socks. They look FAB in a bra... but where are my knees when I take it off? Oh, there they are - under my boobs! Okay, I'm joking, but they're pretty sad. I hated my big boobs at a 48DD, but I don't much like these either. A year at maintenance, and it's a boob lift for me!

FWIW: it's a small price to pay considering all the amazing benefits of losing the weight... and if it's just my boobs - who cares? ;-)

After breastfeeding two children, losing 90 lbs. and being over 50, I gotta tell you - it isn't a pretty sight. Going from a 40 DDD to a 34 D - and well, it should be a 34C, but there is soooo much skin that I need a bigger bra to hold it.

Think of a tennis ball in a sweat sock and you are getting close. That being said, the "girls" look great with excellent undergarments.

You are young and will probably "bounce back" fairly well. My suggestion. Don't worry about it now - give yourself time and if you are unhappy, you can always schedule surgery at that time.

Even with my saggy, baggy, wrinkly breasts - I'm so happy that I lost the weight!

yeh, I guess it is a small price to pay... it's going to be hard to say good bye to these pups. but it will be easy to say hello to the new thin me, which will make up for it.
