Hi; Has anyone joined TOPS Online?¿? If so how does that work? Do you weight at home and e-mail TOPS. Do you get yor support in e-mail or on forum like this one? Just wondering.

Your weight doesn't count until you join an off line chapter. As far as I know the main thing you get is the TOPS news. There is a good message board on the TOPS site that they can use for support the same as here. But weight loss does not count until an official weight recorder weighs them

I understood it was mainly to introduce new members to TOPS. They could start getting information and when they were ready to actually join a chapter.....they could just go and not worry about all the paperwork and finding out the information.

Hi Punky,

Eleni is right about getting the monthly magazine, but until you have that 'official' weigh in at a TOPS chapter, you won't be eligible for TOPS awards.

I do think this is a good way for people that don't have a chapter near them to become familiar with TOPS and have that little extra motivation to help with weight loss. It only takes 4 people to start a chapter and this could help more chapters form.....therefore spreading the TOPS name and guiding more people towards their goals.
