Angry How do I figure points on 2 servings

I am so confused! If I have 2 servings of the same food, how do I figure the points. Do I multiply the points for 1 serving by 2 or do I have to add up all the cal., fat, and fiber and recalculate the points.

If you are having both servings in the same meal (that is, you're doubling the portion) then you double the fat, fiber, calories and recalculate the points.

If there are a number of hours between the servings (same meal for lunch and dinner) then you just count the points as for a single serving each time.

It sucks but it's more accurate to do it the way I suggested in the first paragraph. Sometimes the points are a lot more (raisin bran goes from being 1 point for 1 serving, at 110 cal, 5 gm fiber, 1 gm fat) to 4 points if you double it... It's the HONEST way to do it.

Keep on keeping on.

I was told you should pick one way to do it and do it consistently that way (either totalling the calories/fat/fiber or figuring points an doubling). It all averages out in the end.

For example 1/4 cup of Egg Beaters is 30 cal/0 fat/0 fib or 1 point. If you figure it by points 2 servings is 2 points; if you figure it by cal/fat/fiber totals 2 servings is still 1 point. Or the example of the raisin bran is a nother good one of the opposite.
