S/C/G: 197/135/?

Height: 5'7"

Default 20# and 10% !!!

I can't believe I've really done this. 9 weeks in. While I still have to work at it, I don't even feel scared I'll gain it back. I've just changed the way I'm eating and moving, for good. And that feels great

I don't know if this was anyone else's experience too - we talk about plateaus when losing weight - but I gained over many years, and had lots of plateaus on the way up too. 180ish was one of the long plateaus, and probably the only overweight weight I ended up identifying with ... and I just moved right through it I know the scale may fluctuate up a few days, but I know I am past it.

Things are getting baggy, some things fit now that I couldn't wear before, starting to see a little muscle and just a hint of collarbone (in the right lighting ), little less double chin, good stuff all around

Oh, and I never thought I'd be happy with a "just protuberant" belly, but I am - it doesn't hang down anymore, just out About 3 inches off the waist, about 2 1/2 off the hips.

Next, I want my ... upper body ... to enter the room before my stomach

Onwards!

Thumbs up

I know what you mean...it has been four weeks and already lost 12 pounds...It was not even the pounds for me so much..It was feeling good and seeing clothes becoming baggy, and clothes that could not fit, fitting again, and now I actually enjoy working out!! It's a great feeling...I know how you feel. I feel like dancing too . Keep it up!!!

Tyler, thanks, it's going to be a long haul, so you have to figure out how to feel good about it

Trini, you're so right, it helps so much to share with people who *get* it, doesn't it?
