Angry TUESDAY, 2/19 The Daily

Rise and shine chickies, it's Tuesday!

A nice quiet day planned for today. Just working today then tennis lessons for the boys and exercise for me while they are at their lesson.

Last Saturday my dear Don developed a rash on his face and most of his body. The doc determined that he had Fifth's disease, now that's a new one on me. Once the rash appears he is no longer contagious, it begins with a mild fever and cold like symptoms. A handful of kids in his class have already had it. Here is my question to you. Yesterday morning I was at work dh called me because Don's rash was worse. Dh wanted me to call to see if he needed to go back to the doc. Why can't a man call the dr office?!? I explained that Don was with him and if the dr had any questions he could better answer them and if they wanted to see Don, dh would have to take him and he knows his schedule better than me. Oh well I ended up calling and to make a long story short, Don did go to school. MEN

Pooky so sorry about your gym experience with the budinski's, I went to school with a gal whose last name was Budinski!

Welcome back Kirei!

Susan, how are things going on the job front for you?

Hi Ruth, hope the little lucy is doing well, she is such a cutie! She is my preferred coloring for a pwd!

Take care all and have a great op day!

Happy Tuesday from sunny and sparkly Delta. Another gorgeous day is underway. The snow we got really cleaned things up outside. I hate the dregs of winter - wish it would just go from white to green overnight.

Had a lovely day with my sister yesterday. We lunched at a great little place in Kingston and then went to the fabric store. Wow! I resisted all fabrics and also resisted signing up for courses - just left my serger there to be fixed. We shopped together at the big grocery store for fruits and veggies and had a great time. Back to her condo for a bit and then home by 6. Could be called a completely wasted day but I needed a ME day. (Don't tell anyone but I had pasta with cream sauce and smoked salmon.)

Had a voice mail that my meeting in Gananoque at 11 is postponed to next week so have a "free" day. Yippee! I have a bit of office work to do and that's it - maybe I'll tackle Mount Laundry and get some more sewing done. And pet teh dogs, of course!

Have a lovely day.

Good Morning Jenny and Ruth and all those to come!

Just dropped everyone off at their respective locations and am anxiously awaiting my contractor to finish my kitchen! We got the wood for our floor last night so he can get working on repairing the big hole in it from where the island was. After that it is painting all the way!

Still awaiting a phonecall from the daycare--gee, I really do hope they hire me! Dh has been looking at classifieds for a used car, just in case. I know he's been dying for a pickup, but how practical is that for a baby seat (or even two?) and the rest of us?

Speaking of second babies--I go for my obgyn appointment Thursday morning--can you believe 6 weeks have passed that fast? I'm just happy to be going and hopefully get some answers...

Have a great one everyone!

Morning all...have my one day off in seven and can't decide if I should clean or scrapbook...I think I will compromise and clean this morning and scrapbook this afternoon...going to a power lay out on Saturday and hope to finish my dd (4) album...up to 2 yrs, have that completed for the other two.....Funny how I feel that I have to spend the whole day cleaning when I have been working all weekend and everyone else has been home and felt no need to do anything...I am a loser! Hubby is asking me what is dirty and I am saying well I haven't mopped a floor or scrubberd a toilet in 2 weeks and his response is "It doesn't look dirty"....MEN! Anyhow off I go and hoping to keep the water going all day, the pants are starting to feel a little snug...have a great day all.....pooky dumb question? What kind of answers do you need from GYN/OBS? Take care all! Liz

Unhappy Boo Hoo (insert whine here)

I HATE MY COMPANY!! I have yet another audit this week. They don't even call and tell you they are coming. If I hadn't got the head's up from someone else in my area, I would still be unaware. YUCK! And so that is my week.

Pooky, will there be a Pooklette? I'm so excited!!

Dondar, my dd had fifth's disease. The dumb daycare wanted her to stay home until the rash went away, duh! I kindly mentioned that she caught it there and was not contagious anymore, but they insisted.

Ruth, oh what I wouldn't give for a free day!

Liz, I will mail you all my scrapbooking supplies. I can't get into it!

Well, all, today I am so sore and stiff and whining and carrying on, you would think I haven't lifted anything heavier than my fork for 10 years. I worked out for 30 measly minutes last night and couldn't even finish the weight training. My abs and legs feel like someone has been beating me mercilessly. But if it's sore, that means it got worked, right? Tell me I am not wasting my time! Why does it hurt so bad to be good to your body????

Have a great night!

Question Hi! Can I come back?

I must admit that I FINALLY got on line this morning and read so many posts and between tears and laughter realized why I just love you guys so much! Unfortunately wasn't able to post at that time! Probably a good thing !

In reading the past posts it helped me realize that I just may not be the only one with real life issues // depression // concerns // and distractions! I have debated for so long on how "open" to be! Tippy -- you gave me more support than you may know! And so did the wonderful loving responses ~ as did the wonderful friendship shown to Pooky with her emotional issues!

It's not all about eating issues, is it? There are so many real life issues that we deal with that contribute.

Tippy-OM, I can so relate. My prayers are with you and your precious babies.

Cathyx & Dondar-your son & sister are still is my prayers.

Jif-So glad you are doing so well ! I miss you!

Pooky-I admire you so for baring your soul. I'm trying to. Maybe it will help me!

Peach-I didn't forget your B-day-the cards in the mail! MORE crafts?????

DebK-How are you? Miss you!

And where is our African Violet?

I remember and miss our Rkaramark (Phyllis)?

McMom~How are you doing?

Mom2Five-Are you lurking?

I brought up the Prayer thread and prayed for each one today! We're a pretty okay group, huh?

Thoughts and love to those I've not personally replied to! You are definately in my thoughts!

Been going thru extremely depression, etc., over DD and grandchildren situation. Still so many concerns and gray hairs with Stephen. I feel guilty posting when I've been so down. I haven't even lurked until this morning! Maybe we need a real life vent and get support thread? LOL

Thoughts and prayers to all!

J
