Default Chana Masla--Points?

Does anyone know the points for this Pakistan dish?

It is one of my favorites but I have not been able to find the points.

The last time I had a single serving of it, it was 3 points. But it depends on how it is made.

Was that just for the chickpea part or for both the rice and peas. Also how big do you think that serving was... 1/2 cup or a cup.

Thanks for all your help!

It didn't have any rice. And, I think it was a cup.

Do you have a Trader Joe's nearby? If so, go into the dried foods section where they have Indian and Thai Food, etc and look for a brand called Taj Mahal. Each box has two servings. It takes a minute or less in the microwave after you remove the Channa Masala from the silver pouch and it is delicious. I even put a tablespoon of yogurt when it is done as it can be a little spicy for me.

Default Thanks

No Trader Joe's here. I will have to see if I know someone who lives near one and have them send me some. Or look around here.

I love Chana Masla. I will count 3 points for it and add the points for the rice. Also maybe learn to skip the rice. It is so wonderful. I think may the serving too and bring it home and weigh it. So I know how much I am getting.

Thanks again!!!

Pryia:

I was incorrect regarding the name of the Chana Masala. It is Tasty Bite not Taj Mahal. Go to www.tastybite.com You may be able to order directly.
