I have heard of it only in the Weight Watchers sections here also. Calorie counters don't usually use the Wendie plan, we normally just cycle them (if we choose to cycle) in a range that we have chosen.
ive seen the wendie plan in relationship to calories instead of ww pts....and actually, it was on a forum that i was looking for when i stumbled upon this one...i think it was called chubbie buddies or something, but i never did find it again.
I know this is an ancient thread, and I am sorry to bring it back, but I am going to try this for the next 2 weeks or so- I have hit a horrible plateau and I am hoping this will break it.
i read you were wondering about the wendy plan. i have all the information you might need and if you email me i can send it to you. i have the point ranges and the points for each day for the categorys you might want.
if you want to go by calories with the wendy plan just figure out that each point represent 50 calories.just multiply your points times 50 and that gives you the calories for the day.

This is only 1050c so only do 3 days a week. It is hard to do, so stick with it; it does work!! The original Wendy lost 60 pounds pretty quickly, like 4 lb. a week or something. It doesn't matter when you do the 3 days, together or split them up. Just 3 days on and 4 days eat what you want (is what she said). I found it was hard to get through the 2nd day, but worth it. I also found I ate very reasonable portions on my 4 days off. It just takes a LOT of discipline to do the 3 days on... I think the article was in a Women's Health or some Women's something magazine... Good luck! I don't know about the points version of this that people are posting. I only did the one above. Had trouble staying on it, but it works.
