Hello everyone,

I joined TOPS back in September, but only recently discovered this board.

To be honest, I think that TOPS works for me because it enables me to do a weekly check on my weight and I receive support from my fellow members. Monthly visits to the doctor to check my weight didn't work because I had too much time to cheat. But with weekly monitoring, I am able to see how my good or bad food choices affect my weight.

My TOPS meeting is each Wednesday. Last night I registered a 3 pound weight loss. So far I've lost 20 pounds! I still have a long way to go, but for once in my life I have something that I've never had in the past: faith in myself.

I look forward to participating on this board.

Congratulations on the 3# loss last night. You are doing great with a 20 lb. loss since Sept.
I think that the accountability of having to weigh in every week is good, also. It keeps me aware of my weight and I have learned a lot about keeping a healthy lifestyle.
The girls on this message board are a great group, and are very encouraging to each other. Hope you will post often.
