This week is just flying by. I am still doing good with my eating. I am expecting a loss every week. I don't have a meeting for two weeks but my scales are positively down this week.
flatlander. Loved the picture. I hope most of you know mine was taken several years ago before I gained weight. And yes We are still just as much in love. I have been very fortunate to find a wonderful man that loves me no matter what and is so good to me always.
The board is in an up mode but if any of you are not posting because you are down. Please join us as maybe we can help. Or just say hello,goodbye. I do that a lot when I am down

Hi All.......

Sounds like everyone is in an up mode. I really need it at this time of the year. From the 1st of Nov. thru the 1st of Dec., we have 3 birthdays to celebrate and yesterday was DH and my Anniversary, then Thanksgiving is coming up also. I've been trying extra hard other times to make up for the celebrations. We went out last night and had a really nice dinner at a German restaurant. I'm going to stick with the plan today, hoping for another loss tomorrow.

From reading the board, it looks like some of you are doing very good. Sherri.....Keep up the walking. It is an excellent exercise.
Congratulation to those of you that lost weight this week and good luck to those who are weighing in today.

Eleni...Glad that you are doing good. Keep it up and your scale will really be down when you weigh in again. Our club gives an award to any member that weighs in with a loss the day after Thanksgiving. I've never gotten it but I keep trying.

I think I have been to Tarpon Springs, is it a funky little Portugese fishing town?
If it is the place I am thinking of you are one lucky gal. I even touched a sting ray there, very cool stuff for a prairie girl.

I couldn't help but laugh when I read flatlanders note. Tarpon Springs is a Greek community that is know for it's Greek Church and the fish and sponge industry. Greek town is full of curio shops.Downtown Tarpon is now full of antique shops. It is a big tourist stop

That would definately explain our wonderful Greek lunch and the gorgeous greek waiter.
I was there on a work related trip, and one of my co-workers planned a 4 day road trip. We were there in early Dec so it was very quiet. I thought it was a beautiful place, I would love to go back with my husband someday.

Hi all,

I don't want to bring anyone down with my bad news so I will get it over quick. I gained 3 3/4 lbs last night. I was not happy but I have myself to thank for it. I have been walking still and I am not giving up. I have to get the eating down if I am ever going to reach my goal. I have vowed to myself that I am not going to be a screw up anymore that from now to the first of the year I will lose something. I am going to start strength training again along with the walking and I am going to start eating like the nutritionalist told me to do. It worked the first week then I went down hill. Like you eleni I would do good for a few days then mess up. But I have to do better I am over 180 lbs now and not happy. I never wanted to reach that number again. I am going to start fresh today and start over and make it happen. My birthday is thursday and I will have a loss this week for weigh in on wednesday (we are weighing in a day early because there is no meeting for thursday). I want so bad to have a loss for my birthday and through the holidays. I did it last year with a loss every week through all the holidays so I know I can do it again.

Congratulations to you eleni. I am so proud of you girl. You are doing great. If you can stay on track then I can to. I am just being lazy about it all. I know that. But no more I am with you all and I will have a loss. I will post my menu with christie from now on also and be accountable for it. Keep up the great work eleni. I know you are doing a great job. You will have a great loss.

Flatlander we have awards for losing over a holiday or birthday and vacation as well. It is a nice incentive. I did get one for halloween then I went downhill.

Nita you are doing great keep it going. You will have a loss today I am sure. Just stay focused through the holidays and stay away from the food tables then you won't be so tempted to eat. Go visit in a different room if you have to.

Christie I didn't look at the other board. Did you make kops this week. I haven't been here in a few days. Sorry for that. I haven't been home much and have been busy. But I am going to make time for this place and be here at least once a day again. It always helps me.

Start fresh.... and let yesterday go I didnt get to go last night on account of the school called me to pick up Marissa early, she was sick and needless to say, we didnt go last night, I will go this thursday though, and keep your fingers crossed I may just reach KOPS again yet
