Default Afraid to leave Phase I

Ok- I know this sounds crazy, but has anyone else ever been afraid to leave Phase I? I have been doing Phase I for 2 weeks now and am hesitant to add other foods. I guess maybe this is beause I have never seen such a quick weight loss (eating healthy) and am afraid the loss will slow down. Is it better to go to Phase II for awhile and then come back and detox again? What is the best strategy? I am not craving meat at all right now.

I think there is nothing wrong with eating the foods in Phase 1 for the rest of your life. I think I would definitely take a multi-vitamin every day. You will always have Phase 1 though. If you do have the occasional avocado slice or piece of chicken, and you keep up the exersize, you will continue to loose. I know it's hard to think that when the weight loss slows down you will revert back to the old you. But you won't. You are learning a new lifestyle and you know how to do it now.

Hi -

I had that trouble...I was scared to death I might gain back 1 little lb. I went to p2 but I modified it to only add chicken or fish 3 days a week and I still continued to lose about 2 lbs a week. I didn't add the eggs or cheese because I don't eat much of those anyway. I have gone back to detox several times too. Do what works for you...maybe just eat meat when you feel like it. I always take a vitamin daily regardless of the phase, my Dr said it was a good idea. I also add protein powder to my smoothies for the extra protein. Lem
