Default Just joined yesterday...

I just did the first new members meeting last night and got most of my information. It seems like a really good program and I am really excited to start it. It definately seems like something I could do for a lifetime. Its simple but it works- much better and easier than the conventional calorie counting.

I'm an off and on "weight watcher." I joined 3 years ago and lost 30 lbs. I've put back on 10 lbs in those three years.....mostly lately. I definitely recommend the program. I've started it again, myself. Hopefully til the end this time. I want to attend a meeting tonight....will see if I get to. When I started 3 yrs ago, I lost 15 lbs in the first 3 weeks! It was completely awesome!!! It trickled off after that. A trickle was fine with me though! LOL As long as it came off....and I felt so good about myself, too! Good luck, Kristina. Hope it works well for you! It IS really exciting if you stick with it...and worth it, even though I never even got close to goal.....If I'd stuck with it, I'd be maintaining now instead of trying to lose more. Stick with it...don't give up, even on weeks that you h ave a slight gain! Stick with it...things will come up to make you think you can't go for whatever reason...Make it a priority...a top one!

Good for you Kristina! I love the program, and I too feel that it is something I can do for a lifetime. You're not depriving yourself or giving up your favorite whatever, just making healthier choices and working those few special things in in a healthy way. Stick around and let us know how you're doing!

Aww, why thank you everyone. It is exciting! I am only about 1/2 through my first day but its going really well. It really is something I should be able to stick with. Even if I mess up- I have my flex points so I don't get discouraged and just give up. I have been on a lot of deits and that's what always seems to happen. They are too strict and I give up.

I almost thought it would be too easy and I wouldn't lose weight, but just doing it for as long as I have- I can still have a lot of things but I just need to limit portions. And I can't treat myself every day. It also makes me focus getting actual nutrients in like... what are they called? Oh... veggies. =)
