IndyChick,
I'm doing WW at work and I like it. As always with WW, the meetings are only as good as the leader. If you go to a center, you can try out different leaders, if you do it at work, you're stuck with the one assigned to your group. I have to admit, the last 2 times I joined at work the leaders were not that motivating. I recently joined again (I took a company transfer and am now in a different state) and I really like our leader here. Weigh ins, motivational talks, sharing of ideas and recipes - same as in the centers or at work as far as I've seen.
As far as products, she does bring products with her but obviously not the selection you'd get at a center. I'm sure if you ask for let's say a specific flavor of 2 point bars - she would bring them with her.
I think it also depends on the individual leader. We had a substitute last week and she brought all kinds of props for her pep talk and had a huge array of products - more than twice what we've seen with our usual leader. Just a matter of individual style but I did get to see more products than I knew they had (and of course I see it, I buy it

)
We are just starting our next round of sessions - they are letting people come in for free (for
one session only) to see what the meetings are all about. It also gives you a chance to "try out" the leader.
I couldn't agree more with your "no excuse" comment. Since it's at work and I'm there anyway, it's very helpful. Plus you have the comraderie of your coworkers tho our office campus is so big I don't really know the other ladies that well.
I'm not sure how the Lifetime members work - I thought as long as you stay within 2 pounds of goal you can weigh in and attend meetings for free but don't take my word for it. My meeting is tomorrow - I can ask if you like.
Good luck to you - I would definitely recommend giving it at least one chance.
