    Thank you so much for starting this challenge Today after work, I was exhausted but needed to stop at the grocery store to pick up food for the week. I kept "trolling" the dessert isles but resisted because of the focus and determination this challenge has re-awakened in me.

    Thank you for the kind words. The loss was truly unexpected but I couldn't be more more grateful. I got waaaay off track for a few months and gained back 25 of my 40 lb loss So it kinda feels like my body is thanking me for finding my way back!

    I'm sorry that you didn't have a loss this week and I hope you are not too disappointed. I've been meaning to tell you that I've been so inspired by your journey since I came back to 3FC last year. Girl, you look FAB-U-LOUS!

    Im just targeting about 25lb at a time and I weigh in on Friday with my daughter (she is starting the journey too) ... so will update my "now" then

    Nightkatt, I added you on. Do you happen to know what your weight was last week? It works much better if you log your Friday weigh-in on the following Monday rather than almost a week after. Otherwise you're a week short or will finish the challenge after everyone else is done.

  • Ugh... Well, YAY! but Ugh! My weigh in was at my highest weight (ovulation is when I gain the most) and now in two days I've lost 2.6 pounds. So gals, expect to see a LARGE weight loss from me next week. And well, you will notice that from me most of the time... stall, stall, gain, WHOOSH, WHOOSH, stall, stall.... My monthly cycle has a huge impact on how I lose and when I lose.

    2.8 pounds to get to where I want to be by Valentine's Day and I'm in the time of month that it is totally possible to lose those 2.8 pounds. That would put me back at my all time low of 171.2 which is where I was on December 15th - before the holidays hit (8 events and tons of food). I gave 5 weeks to lose the holiday weight (as our holidays go until January 8th).

    Oh, and if I don't get there, that's OK... I get this journey and am strictly on plan, so it's all good. I'll get there soon enough.
  • Is it too late to join in here? I'm in a Valentine's Day challenge, but last weigh-in I exceeded my goal (175lbs), YAY! I need to quickly join in on a new challenge to keep my motivation high and stay focused. So someone here plugs in our numbers? And we check in with our weight on Mondays... is this correct?

    My ultimate goal is to be around 145 lbs. That means 28.2 more lbs to lose til goal, and if I can't do it by July 4th then I'll probably never do it! So here goes... on my way to goal!

    really didn't expect it after my not-quite-on-plan thursday through sunday. but i guess the double workouts did their job
  • Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing wonderful! Today was a great day for me. I have been branching out of my comfort zone and trying new exercises and it's kind of fun.
  • Yay - I'm glad there's so many people joining - welcome!!

    I've had a good week eating-wise but I just can't motivate myself to workout. I think I realllly need a gym membership because the key for me is going straight from work. As soon as I get home I have kids hanging off of me, and chores to do,etc, etc. I think it is one of those situations where I have to make myself a priority. Mostly, I just miss using an elliptical!

    Laura - You are so right. It is very hard for me to get my workouts in once I get in the house. On the days that I don't workout before going home I have to force myself to change into my workout clothes as soon as I walk through the door. It's a lot easier for me during the months when there is more day light. My body just wants to shut down once it's dark outside.

    So far I'm having a good week and I hope everyone else is having a good one too.
  • Ummm okee .. well last Friday was the first time I got on the scale in a long while .. and that was my starting weight of 301.7lb ,,,, just had my 1 week weigh in at the gym (my first visit!) and Im now 298.5 Time to update my ticker

    So do you want me to give my weights on the Monday not the Friday??? Im a little lost lol .. hopefully the weight Im losing isnt brain cells????
