happy
That is what sailors called in aboard ship. They ate a lot of it on voyages. lol My tulips and crocuses have been trying to come up. Which will probably mean, I won't have any for the spring.
.....I had a lovely shower this morning and gave my hair a good wash. Feels sooooo good! The Pypers were here for lunch (they brought it) and my Hershey is now back home! *** Sigh ***

LAUGHING NOW BUT I KNOW IT'S TRUE!!! YOU AND I HAVE THE SAME MINDS. IT'S SCARY
WAVING A HAND NOW AS I WILL NOT BE HERE IN THE MORNING. THE TRIP IS STILL ON AND WE MIGHT GET AN EARLIER START WITH MARK. HAVE A GREAT NIGHT AND DAY TOMORROW.

so he did some maintenance anyway and replaced a few things and said only thing left is the whole control panel and doesn't think that will be the problem so off I go again.

DID I ASK ALREADY HOW CHRIS IS DOING? I THINK OF HER FROM TIME TO TIME ALONG WITH TIG'S KIDS IN JAPAN. HAPPY EXERCISING!!

DH and I were out a good part of the day shopping and roaming here and there. I am very proud of you for getting to the gym at 5:30 in the MORNING.
It is a good way to start the day and if you can get a quick swim and sauna in, it lets you start the day all tingly
Our town is arranging a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer the end of September. They have an info session the end of February that I'm making DH attend. It looks lovely, I'd really like to go and so would he. However if I'm going to travel across the country, I'd rather go a little earlier than the first week in October. We'd stop off at Butchart Gardens again. Can't go all the way up to Vancouver and not hop over, can you? DH said we can go when his father's house sells - so probably not this year, but soon I hope. Maybe the timing will work where we can meet up on that side of the Worldly Chicks backyard
I second Mel's question - how is Chris? She hasn't moved back to NZ yet, has she?
TELL ME you weren't even considering going out in that weather, were you? Are you more nuts than I thought?
Sounds positively wicked. Glad it blew out fast. Stay warm my friend. No shopping today.
Sometimes that happens with the smilies and it's the site more than us. They are making doors stronger now. Good thing but a sign of the times too I suppose. Are you feeling better?
The thing I don't understand sometimes with the points is they calculate funny. There is a brand of soup that they advertise as 0 WW points. Well it's zero for one cup. But if you have the whole can (2 cups) it's 1 point. Well how can it be no points for a single serving and 1 point for a double serving - wouldn't that be half a point for 1 cup?
Your story about the livestock was sad
As for the door, no door is tornado proof unless it's at the bottom of a large, very deep ditch and you're laying on top of it
We don't have basements in this section of the country. Something about the water level being too high and they get wet, damp and mouldy. Although one person said the reason they are that way is because the home builders don't know how to build basements for the conditions here. Our "shelter" is the front hall closet under the stairs. That is if you can get past the coats, vacumn cleaner and some boxes. My biggest fear is the huge sweetgum trees out back crashing into the house.
