  • Just about qualify to jump in here -- I'm 179.6 this morning and delighted to finally fight my way out of the 180s.
  • 173.6 today

Welcome Crow! I think most of us know exactly what you mean and some are still fighting to get loose of the 180's, so jump right in. I spent two very looonnnnngggg months dragging through the 180's. Yet all of this progress through the 170's has been in just under two weeks! I can only hope it keeps going because I have no clue what is different.

  • just arrived at 179.2. The 70's will see me move from obese to merely overweight and with a bit of luck i may be able to cross my legs again by the time i emerge the other (and lower) side.
  • Hope the 170s fly by for you!

The 180s flew by for me until I hit 181. Then they screeched on the brakes and put me in limbo for weeks. It was so ARRRRRGGGGHH! I am so praying that the 170s move on quickly and don't do that to me. I am so anxious to get into the 160s!
  • 177.2
  • 172.7. Trying to hurry before MauiKai passes me by...
  • Geez I'd have to have a huge whoosh of like 6lbs to do that, so I think you're safe!
  • You're doing awesome and dropping like a rock and I'm approaching the same place I stalled at in the 180's. It's like our bodies can read the scale and just want to tease us with a glimpse at the next lower decade.
  • Spending more days in the 170s these days (though still mostly in the 180s!)

Now that my races are done, time to focus on dropping some pounds. Even though I've lost 55 pounds, it's been a long time since I've lost more than a pound in a month and I've been getting down on myself. I also started noticing some very unattractive loose skin. I'll get over it but I think a good loss would boost my confidence!
  • I've been halfway through the 170s for a couple weeks. Hoping to make my way out of it soon!

I often have a stall at the end of a "decade" as well. Shoot, I thought I was going to scream every time I hopped on the scale one day to "179" and the next "180" and back and forth for a couple of weeks.
  • I was 172.1 yesterday and even though it's late and I don't have time to reply to everyone, I want to make sure I post while it's low because I have a feeling it's temporary! I'm dreading getting on the scale in the morning because I had the most awesome Mexican food for lunch. As a matter of fact it was so good I brought half of my lunch back to the office and ended up eating it for dinner! Oh well. If the scale goes way up at least I enjoyed it!
  • *sigh* 173.2 today. It's water weight. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
