Thanksgiving Challenge Anyone?!

  • Ok, I met my Halloween Goal so now it's on to my Thanksgiving Goal. My inital goal of 150 seems a little over the top now that I am into counting calories etc...so this is my new Thanksgiving Goal:

    SW: 168
    CW: 168
    TGW: 160
  • SW: 256
    CW: 241.8
    GW: 230

    That's another 11 lbs. in 5 weeks, I think I can do it; I made a few adjustments based off of what I've been learning:

    1. After rigorous workouts, the body will "gain" weight because of something with the muscles (totally forgot the science behind it) and the weight will stay for a few weeks
    2. Weigh-in on rest days in the morning after I do my business
    3. Adjust my calories based on how much exercise I do; but don't over-do it. If I "gain" 400 extra calories back from exercise, I only will "eat back" up to 200 of those
    4. Give the body a rest! I was working out hard daily and could not figure out why I wasn't losing, but when I gave myself 2 consecutive days off, the weigh droppes like a bad habit!

    that's it...I'm glad I am learning these things early on and I am glad to be on the journey with such a great group of awesome women. Keep it up ladies!

  • Well, I didn't participate in the Halloween one...so I'll do this one!

    That'd be almost 6 pounds by Thanksgiving. Hopefully I can do this! Ultimately I'd wanna get to 160, but I went with a little more realistic goal.

    I decided to back my goal for Thanksgiving up by five pounds since my original goal was 165. Hopefully I will be able to drop lower than 160 by then! And then I can decide what my Christmas goal will be! Keep up the good work everyone!

  • I was up .4 oz this morning and I was furious! I am hoping that it is leftover from my TOM which ended Sunday! If a woosh doesn't happen I fear I won't make my thanksgiving goal!

  • My scale will not budge! I am keeping the same goals, although I probably won't hit 147. I would be thrilled with 4 lbs at this point...so I'm shooting for 149 AT THE LEAST!
