    Jacque ~ Yeah, it's getting addictive I think. I think my son wanted to watch it more than I did last night and actually stayed up to watch it until the end.

    Sandye ~ First of all on finishing your 12 weeks and for it not killin' ya. And on getting down to 151, I just know any day now, you will be posting..that you met your goal. I'm just so freakin' proud of you. I think I'm just as excited as you are about you hitting your goal. It's just an awesome feeling watching one of our gals do it. The fair sounded great as well. Glad to hear you guys had a good time. Oh my gosh, how did you get past the smell of those funnel cakes? That would have been my weakness. Between those and the carmel apples, I'd been going crazy.

    Tummy ~ on being down some more poundage girlfriend. So how is the bday preparation going? Good I hope. And did I read you were baking your own cake? Like a tiered cake? That would be a disaster just waiting to happen for me...so kudos to you darling.

    ~ on losing some pounds girly. See, it isn't entirely impossible, now is it? You are sticking to a plan that is apparently working for you. Just remember the less you weigh, the less calories you will expend throughout the day. I'm not very active outside of my exercise and I'm struggling to burn 2000 calories a day, I can only imagine what it will be in another 10 pounds down. But hey we do it right? We stick with it, because we know it makes us feel better, knowing we are healthy. Keep up the great work.

    Jacqui ~ I'm afraid your computer has probably passed on to puter heaven by now, seeing as we haven't seen you in a few days. You have my condolences and I hope you can get back to us soon.

    NSM ~ Whew, good to hear from you darling, I was starting to wonder. Can't wait to see you back posting again. Have fun with your company darling.

    Well I was up to late, but I went all ninja on my alarm clock and got up at seven this morning. Booya! Take that you, made in china piece of junk. I feel alright to, not draggin or anything. My calorie burn is starting to bother me a bit. I feel like if I'm gonna be able to sustain a two pound a week loss, I'm gonna have to stand in place all day, every day and jog in place. It's becoming increasingly hard to get a good deficit. This is where my goals will be next month. Well, ladies I'm gonna get off here and get some breakfast and start the day jogging in place. Yippie, only twenty three hours to go.

    Jacque~ Aww man, see, I didn't need to know that this coming season will be the last one! *sniff* I knew it would only be on for a set number of seasons, but I thought we had a few left! I missed the finale last season (that was the day our power went out while I was on the treadmill) so I've been sitting here patiently waiting for the start of the new one so I can watch what happened! Come on already!!! Sheesh!!!

    Delphi~ WHEW! Girl, I can't take it when I don't get my morning dose of Delphi--you gotta quit staying up so late and neglecting us in the morning! Glad to hear you're enjoying LOST! I didn't watch it for the first season and then my Mom & Sister told me I had to! Needless to say, they knew what they were talkin' about! Thanks for all the encouragement and kind words hun! You're a doll! As for your calorie burn...well, I hate to say this, but you know what 'they' say--as you go on, your weight loss slows down. However, I dunno, I'm beginning to think 'they' are a bunch of quacks! I can't imagine you burning any more calories! You workout a TON! I'll be honest, I'm not all that knowledgeable about how to figure out how many calories I'm burning--and I don't like math enough to try to figure it all out --but you seem to be burning more than your fair share. So, when you post about your August Goals and calorie burn and deficits...you're gunna have to speak s l o w l y so my simply mind can grasp it. I'm sure you'll figure it out though, and no matter what you plan on--I'm here for ya baby! I got your back!

    Okay well, it's WI & Measurement Day folks! I'm up a tiny bit today, but no biggie, I was kind of expecting it--151.4. I'm down another 2" this week.

    So, to save you all from doing the math--from 5/31-7/26 I lost 22" and 20.4 lbs. So, as far as I'm concerned--the HIIT program was a success! I definitely loss inches off my belly and pounds to boot!

    Okay, sorry for being so chatty today. I just thought I'd share since I had the final measurements and all.

  • Sandye ~ Good gracious that's a whole lot of inches. Funny thing is that I just started writing mine down, I told myself, I would do inches at the end of every month. So I'll see if I have lost any inches in a few days. But again You've done an amazing job. About the calorie burn, I think I'm gonna have to crank it up a notch and as much as I wanted to take weekends off, I don't think I can. Which sucks!

    As for me, I just finished up with the boys room. Now I have piles of laundry in my kitchen floor waiting on me..oh joy! But at least I got their room clean and they are all still in the bed...it's so peaceful. You could hear a pin drop in here right now.Oh man, I spoke to soon, here comes my boys...*sighs* time to go ladies. I'll check back in later. Have yourselves a uberawesome day.

    CMo4 - WTG on finishing HIIT! I can only half imagine how hard that was. I'll fully appreciate it in about 3 weeks and to see 150! That's incredible you skinny mini you. Well at least the kiddos got their monies worth out of the fair anyway and the shorter time there, the less risk of a corn related assault. WTG on the inches!

    LTTG - I was stressed out just reading that, wow, but who knows how to change those things, so much is personality but I'm sure there's a way. Woo hoo on the pound! That's fantastic and probably just what your brain needed.

    Delphi - We did that with 24 a few years ago and watched the whole series in order back to back, it was awesome. Have fun cleaning up maybe you'll find some treasure in there. I was going to do a layer cake but it is supposed to be over 35 (or 90F) tomrrow and I was worried the middle icing part might melt and topple. Sooo it is just a single layer chocolate with pink icing and I may try to write on it if I feel ambitious. Have fun jogging!

    Down another 0.5 today, which is a rather nice surprise given my rather sloooow week last week. Cake is all baked, just icing and all the salads to make today, and maybe decorate and whatever else is on my list, oh right clean the whole house. Thank goodness we only do this once a year. Planning a little a day has really helped this year though and not working full time, yup that helped too. Ok off to get something accomplished! BBL

    Tummygirl....you sound like a busy gal over t here. SOunds like everything is coming along nicely....your going to feel great when it's all done ... then you can sit back and enjoy it.

    Sandye.....as far as hope we don't mind you posting your inches...etc..lol Heck noooooooooo dear girl....ty so much for sharing with us and it is so nice to see the progress....wow girl. You have done and are doing amazing! I'm glad the kids enjoyed the fair....good for you for resisting all th ose temptations. OMG....that's not easy to do with all thos scents wafting through the air. I don't think the roast corn on the cob is bad though...?     Latetothegame.....sorry about your mom. Fortunately...the medical field is now making us more knowledgeable in that area. All of the prior research was always done on men and thus all of the symptoms (like chest pain..etc.) that we were aware of were based on men. Women's symptoms are often different than mens (jaw pain..etc..) and I'm glad that they are informing the public and also not ignoring womens symptoms now nearly to the extent of the past. Anyhow....enough babbling about that...I'm glad you got checked out and are okay I too got checked out (ekg and heart ultrasound) minus the stress test...and ok.
    I'm a former smoker as well. After a number of years (depending on what age we quit...etc) we reverse the process (to my understanding) which is pretty neat! : )
    OUch at hurting your ankle. I have broken mine (twice) and oh god...I am so dreadfully careful now. Never want to do that again....I sure understand your hesitation. Why is it so bad...is it rocky or hilly? I have visitied north cali and loved it...such a pretty area. I Live in Massachussetts...on the north shore. It's wonderful this time of year (typically) but we have long cold winters and I use the treadmill then..lol..that way the darn snow and rain doesn't stop me. I am afraid of dogs too and I absolutely will not walk in the neighborhood here. They didn't even have a leash law in this town until a few years ago and the residents still don't abide by it. I found a walking route (along a major road) which aside from it being busy is extremely safe (nearby town) and so quaint. There are historic homes lining brick sideways and they are so nicely kept.....many many various flowers along the route. I walked it with DH in the beginning (still do sometimes but go on my own now as well) and saw that there were no dogs on the route. lol
    Congrats on your workouts and all....your doing great .... right back at you.

Foodwise was pretty good....but had some fruity drinks which is pretty bad...(loaded with cals). It was a nice night and sat in the screen porch. Unfortunately...we got into an argument which escalated. I was really upset...why so soon after his return..it's a shame really. It was over nothing much really either...just stupid little thing. Oh well...today is a new day and all is well, we laid it to rest. The sun is out now and I think getting outdoors a bit will help me feel better.     Like I said, the pizza last night was good. Just had the other two pieces for breakfast. I got to thinking, I read somewhere that you should eat protein and carbs at each meal. That pizza did not have any protein! Crikey. Well, I'm mad at (not D)H again. I spent an hour weeding the front planter beds and cracks in the walk. I came in for a drink and he was asleep (It was 8:30 am mind you). He stuck his head out and asked if I wanted pizza, how nice. When I came in, I said that I would rather live in an apartment. He said he would get me a flame-thrower to kill the weeds. "Then you could just sweep up the dead weeds." Yeah, right, and everything else to. His idea of weeding is round-up and never going back to pull the dead stuff. He knows I hate this chore, I complain about it everytime. Why can't he just HELP? If I ask him to do anything, I get this attitude "oh poor me. Let me stop what I'm doing (which is nothing) and help." I don't even bother to ask him to do ANYTHING and that *isses me off. Ooh, I'd better stop. I'm getting angrier and angrier. I'd take off for the day, but there's too much to do around here (and that sure as **** won't get done if I don't do it). Grrr....Sorry, girls. I hope y'all have a gosh darn wonderful day. Think I'll head to the library(after everything is done) and read up on nutrition. Ta
  • FSA ~ You posted while I typed! No, my neighborhood is safe, flat and level. I just worry that if I were to get hurt or something, oh, I don't know. My gym is just next door to a fire station, so if something happened there, a hunky firefighter could be there in moments! I think I'll start walking outside once it cools down. It's too dang hot! Parts of No. Cal are pretty (ocean, mts, wine country), but not where I live. It never rains from April until October, so it is dry and very ugly. I want to move to Indiana (to be close to Sandye) where its pretty, but the other half (I'm still mad) won't hear of it. My mom grew up in MA. She said it was very pretty and the ocean is warm! Glad you and your DH patched things up!

None of my relationship advice should ever be followed, unless of course you have a high dollar attorney on your side. Well glad to hear your staying busy, because at the end of the day, your not sitting or sleeping so your burning more calories. Wish I could stay busy.

    As for me, I've managed to stay busy all morning. Got the room clean, doing laundry, rearranging and cleaning my room and still doing laundry. I highly doubt I'll be done with it anytime soon. They day is half way over too. Oh and the boys and I spent about two hours this morning playing LIPS. Which was great, kept me up and moving my butt for two hours. It's a glorified karaoke game by Microsoft. Just awesome. Nothing like singing Walk Like an Egyptian to get the blood pumping. Wheyyyyyyyy oooooooooooo Wheyyyy ooooooooooooooooooooooo.

    Well I was gonna put in some DDR but we can't find the cord thingy to the mat. Total bummer. Alas, I have to think like a cord. If I were a cord, where would I be??????????? Yup, not working..I have no clue. Alrighty ladies, I'm off again. Have to get moving my rear and maybe shake my rump a little. Talk to you cool cats later.
