Hello everyone and welcome missdizzy.

It was my day off today, I sat around in my vest and knickers until this afternoon. Did manage to clean the bathroom and then had a wonderful brekkie of scrambled egg, fried mushrooms (what a bold girl I am) and a toasted bagel with Lurpak on.

Sat in the garden for a while this afternoon reading and ate another bagel and had a yoghurt.

When the boys came home from school I was still in vest and knickers what a complete lush of a mother I am. Mind you I then got myself together and dressed and popped to the shops.

My little fella is out and the big fella is testing his new tennis racket that cost £60.00!!! He is going out tomorrow night a friend of his a girl is celebrating her birthday and they are all going to Nando's. Mind you he is the fussiest child and hates any kind of spice or flavouring on chicken so god knows what he will eat, and he is fussing about what to wear. Boys are as bad any girls I reckon.

Have a lovely evening Peacock I'm trying to be a saintly girl this evening as I out tomorrow my friend at work is 40 and we are all going out for meal then there is music afterwards. No doubt I shall have a couple of vodkas.

Well an eventful couple of days for me.

Last night I taught the advanced class all by myself Which would've been a lot more fun if more than 4 people had turned up. But never mind. It was an average class, I didn't do anything special or get too sweaty, but it was all good. Then the ladies class was pretty good - 3 new people and 2 of the usual suspects. Quite quiet, but it meant I could focus some time on the newbies.

Then I got knocked off my bike on the way home Forutnately neither me or Nelly were hurt (that's the bike.....). But the taxi driver got an earful and he didn't even apologise.

Then this morning it turns out I've probably lost my Railcard, however I have a sneaking suspicion of where it might be. I spent 40 minutes before work looking for it and was consequently late for work I'll have to leave early to go and get a replacement before I hop on the train for Leeds and climbing with Helen

THEN I sold some stuff on etsy! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm really pleased because I only put the stuff on yesterday! I am the greatest! Heh! I just have to ship them to America!

Been out hunting the past few days for a new bathroom and a conservatory. Our home improvement cheque due anyday. Can't believe how much choice there is now for bathrooms. One thing for sure I'm having a whirlpool bath. And at long last a shower - been without one since moving here last year.

Think I've pulled a muscle in my leg!

I've just bought some new trousers as an incentive to lose weight. I've already gone down one size so have bought the next size down. Everything I am shrinking out of is being sold as I'm determined not to grow back into them this time.

I felt very virtuous when I got to work - I managed to sneak in a 14 mile run on the way here, unfortunately I'm now really tired and wondering whether I can sneak in a nap before the train gets to Leeds!

I'm really looking forward to climbing, I've got a huge pile of clothes just in case we get soaked tomorrow.

My word - I don't normally mind a bit a rain but someone up there is taking the pee! Or peeing down on us! Outside my office window it is very grey and you can hardlysee a thing the rain is coming down hard and fast. I hope it clears a bit before I go back to my friend's tonight. Doesn't sound like it is going to be a nice weekend at all so won't be sunning myself in her garden then.

I know, I know, I shouldn't grumble- Those of you are the Sheffield/yorks area have it really bad. I hope Sarahann is ok. 2frus and yp1 - don't come back rusty!

It's sooo humid here, I have very thick straight here and at the moment I appear to have an afro.

I'm almost ready to change my ticker to 160, but I'm waiting until next week, we all know what happens to me on weekends and tonight I have Red Sox tickets. I imagine I'll have a few beers and some not so good food.

I worked out this morning and then walked all over the place in this heat doing errands, so now I just put the AC on and am about to take a long nap.

The time is 01:44am. I have just returned from purchasing the latest Harry Potter. Hubby is currently reading. I can't have it until he finishes.
I have also just written to the editor of the local paper about my disgust at the behaviour of adults who don't understand the term "we're queuing". We had to queue to buy the book at one till before doing our weekly shop. We then had to join another queue. People were cutting in and those of us that had queued for half an hour were not amused. 2 women tried telling us they didn't understand english, before going on to tell us in perfect english that they didn't have to queue because they had already paid for their book and just wanted to pay for their shopping. Another had been in the queue for books and his wife and bought the shopping to him and he joined the shopping queue. Unfortunately the store were not allowing for you to pay for the book at the same time as the rest of your shopping. He then had to get back in the book queue. At least one kind gentleman apologised for jumping the queue.
Sorry, rant over. Just made me really mad, especially as I had queued so patiently in the cold and rain.
All I can say is the book best have been worth me staying up to go and get it at midnight. I've been up since 830am!!

RSG - sadly no photos, I didn't want to bang my camera against the rock.

It was FUN though We both have very bashed legs from getting too close to the rock (I kind of like getting close to it rather than dangling miles away!) but were trying to work out when to do it again (or whether to do something else next time). The B&B was lovely (they even managed to put together packed lunches we couldn't finish, which is a rare achievement!), and we even stopped for cream tea on the way home. I've just dropped Jen off at the station, I think it's time for a nap in a bit.

It was VERY fun! I am just checking out climbing clubs in the smoke! Heh!

Sopunds like you all had a fun weekend - apart fromt eh queuing for the HP book!

I was amazed that there was no or little rain - at least when I was out and about. I walked along to Lee station to the shops and for once left my sweat bucked plastic rain mac behind. It was very warm! The next day I got the train back to H'Smith for our book club. We have a great time in the garden until it got a bit chilly. Nice not to have to worry about the rain for once!

My bruises are getting more impressive by the hour.

Is it really worrying that fell running is starting to sound like a good idea? I know I can't do it now, but I'm thinking "if I trained for it properly I'm sure it would be fantastic..."

Yeah I like the idea of fell running.

I have booked a campsite in Hampshire in a couple of weekends. But there are no rocks anywhere near. Fortunately there are TONS of big rocks in Edale! Hurrah!!!!!!

I am working out whether I can afford all the gear yet. I think the minimum will set me back over £250. But if I'm raking it in from etsy!
