  • I feel really lazy today... Jogged a lazy 6 k...
  • 10/15
    45 minutes spinning
  • 45min walk
    30min slim down w/ veena&neena dvd
  • Walked 3 miles, and pilates.
  • 3 mile jog on the dreadmill ... leg workout 30 mins...
  • I haven't exercised since Friday, October 6th...

BUT! Today I went to the mall and wore my pedometer. Logged a bit over 6,900 steps. Says I've walked 2.696 miles, but I'm going to count it as 2.3 miles since pedometers are a bit off, especially this one I bet since I bought it at Wal-Mart for $3.96. May not have been a lot of exercise but it's better than nothing, and I had fun. I don't feel like I exercised at all.

I'm going to return to my 5-times weekly schedule this week.
  • 30 min elliptical; 10 min treadmill walk (ran out of time!)
  • Rained here so skipped my walk.

I think rain increases my laziness, I did do a 20min cardio dvd w/ denise austin though. thats something lol
  • yesterday - 50 min elliptical 40 min LB strength training.
  • 52 min treadmill walk
  • 7 miles outside on my bike.
  • 10/16 30 minutes elliptical

    10/17 30 minutes exercise bike
  • 55 min elliptical.
  • I'm new and would love to be accountable!

A question though...for something to qualify as high intensity, what does your h/r need to be at?

Yesterday - 50 minutes hill interval treadmill (hr 145-155), 45 minutes strength training (UB)

Hi. I just started exercising two days ago so my minutes are low.

    treadmill: 1 mile (17 or 18 minutes)
    bike: 10 minutes
    elliptical: 10 minutes

I also have a couple of questions.

I find it real hard to do the elliptical and have only gone 10 minutes the last two nights. Also I was only going about 3.5 mph. Is this unusually slow for a beginner? It kept saying to warm up at that rate. Also, my heart rate was getting up to 161. What is an unsafe number? The machine showed 141 for a recommended high impact heart rate. I'm 39 and weigh 205.

    Thanks.
