Evening, coaches! Early morning meeting tomorrow...so night time post.
So far, an OP day to report, although I am not totally sure about my calorie count. Picked up some sushi for lunch and package says it is 560 calories for 6 small pieces.

Does not seem right to me; is white rice really that high in calories?
Night time is tough on the psyche. Challenge of food desire combined with home alone. (DH returns tomorrow; have not seen him in 10 days). Must stay busy tonight. I eat less that way.

Who was it that said their diet tactic was to go to bed because you can't eat when you are asleep!?
Made it to the pool this am and got in 40 minutes of "3 extremity" deep-water exercise. I really like my "home" pool in the morning. You'd think liking it would make it easy to get my body in the car and get there, but somehow there is this little voice that always manages to whisper some little sabotage in my ear...like "oh, you really want another cup of coffee, you can go tonight, or tomorrow...or..." Have to work at stopping that little

. Today: MOI=1;

=0. Yup, that competition thing again. LOL.
Facing work travel again on Sunday.

To Philie for a meeting that was not on my calendar until 3 days ago. Meeting is going to be weird in that I am really not supposed to be there (long story). Travel will make me more behind than ever with the rest of my work projects.

Also, will have to scout for a pool as the hotel's pool is outdoor and is now closed. So, at risk for falling off the exercise wagon.

REALLY bad part is I don't know how I am going to get arms well with another round of schlepping luggage.

Frustrating. OH WELL. PT is bracing herself for me to be worse again next week.
Happy1025-
I went through Beck book in the late summer and early fall. Now, I reread parts as needed. Making the Advantages Response Card is crucial. I am back to reading mine twice a day. When discouragement sets in, knowing why you are doing your program and verbalizing that you really want to do it is what either keeps you OP or gives you the shove to get back on the wagon. Also, empowers you to recognize it is a choice. Nothing unfair about that.
RobinW-Kudos on getting that grocery shopping done. I used to hate it, but I have recently gotten into making more frequent, brief grocery visits. Makes a big difference for me. Ouch for the "off" targets. Creating time and energy is tough. I would love a wife too. I will ask DH your NY questions when he gets home. We had about 108" last year of snow...so bet we were at least in the same league as Orchard Park. Our average snowfall is somewhere around 50". So, we should have "negative snowfall" this year to get back to our avg. LOL.
angelmomma210-

that you checked in today. Happy to hear that you are at peace in spite of turmoil. Are you and your diet coach still in touch?
twilit tera-Woo Hoo for getting observations completed! Kudos for planning for and executing controlled eating and for recruiting your aunt into "Beck" thinking. AWESOME. Just noticed your signature that says you have been craving free for almost 2 months!!! What is your secret??
BillBlueEyes-Never seen a vegetarian pot-luck. Hmm, bet it was good. High five for skipping the deserts.
onebyone-Aw shucks for chips, kudos for thinking that next time will be a real, regular potato. Oh Well. Keep going....persist, persist, persist. Visualizing you in that coat. Got that vision?? Believe it.
Off to run some errands....that will keep me from eating!
