Re: Has anyone else ever been this dumb... I don't know if y'all remember, but we used to run out of oil regularly in Germany. Dumb tanks don't have a gauge, so we wouldn't know we were out until the heat stopped. I hated that. Here, we have this lovely gas piped right to our house. I love that.

I am getting ready to do an hour and a half of pointless exercise. (Exactly what is this accomplishing, anyway?)

BTW, pages ago, we were discussing eczema. I'm keeping mine from being too disfiguring by using a Cetaphil knock-off cleanser and a Eucerin knock-off cream. Lotion don't do diddly squat. My current thought on lotion vs. Extra dry skin is that if lotion solves the problem, it's not extra dry skin. I try to soak the hands, then put the creme on, then avoid getting them wet as much as possible. I even use gloves for dishes now because I figured it was better than feeling like I should be wearing gloves any time someone else might see my hands.

Wabby, that was a great picture!
Bagzie- yay for walking and THANK YOU!!!!!

Hi Peaches and Sugar Plum and Lushie and Kiwi!!

Default Hey Sugar

I think we found your meat thermometer -- Someone stuck it in Bagz, cuz she did 20 minutes and SHE'S DONE!

I had another theory -- the muffin cups were jealous of the bra cups 'cuz they were so HOT and they swiped the meat thermometer to see if they could get just as hot. We'll never know. Muffin cups don't talk.

I have a headache again. I have to go take a shower. And drive DD to guitar lesson. I never get anything done. I have about given up exercising. And my kitchen stinks.

whine whine whine

Yep. Once I carried my water bill & payment around in my purse until they shut off my water. DH was verrrrry annoyed w/ me. I think I'm doing pretty good considering that was the only time in 20 plus years of bill paying. Do they have any idea how many things we have to remember??????

My long ago weiner dog used to have an underwear fetish. At least I always had new undies back then. They never lasted more than a month.

Bagzie and Cherry, you two are our inspiration. Oh yeah, that Curvey Lush too. And even tho I said I was bringing my workout stuff to work w/ me so that I would go to Curves on my way home, I didn't, sooooo I will just have to go walking this evening. Another sunny day, low 60's , so just smack me, will ya?

Black bra? Muffin cups? one and the same????

I went to the dermotolgist
except
after his name was D.O.
not M.D.
and he said
it didn't matter what it was
it's all treated the same
I'm supposed to shampoo with Selsun and something else on alternate days or weeks. Not touch my face. Use non-scented things as the scents cause allergies. I have a prescription for something to put on my face but haven't cashed it in yet.

I feel that is an unsatisfactory answer...do you have contact dematitis?
I love Scalpicin. I don't know what it does. I do know when I have dry, itchy skin, it makes it stop itching.
My DH came home early today. He discovered that we do nothing until 5 minutes before he comes home, he's miffed. Turns out my kitchen stinks, too.
gotta look busy, bye

Default herbie update

This is my life. These are the details of my pitiful life. I have
 • a big fat bloated belly
 • scaly scalp
 • haggy baggy eye skin
 • precious little ears
So Sat night DS will join his boy scout troop and go to Pensacola to see ice hockey. You know how cleverly I put him in a troop COLOR=crimson]IN ANOTHER D**N TOWN?? Well, that's where I'm supposed to go at midnight and pick him up. Welllllllll I happened to know from herbie's email andhe and bubba are going out-of-town for the weekend so i asked if I could stay there and I am. Even if it is HIS house, it'smuch closer to the pickup point.

tomorrow morning I'm going to talk to a social security guy. Wish me luck. Pray. Light candles. Meditate on snow. This is scary.

Default You won't believe this:

After all, I don't believe it, why should you? I weighed myself today, and after a week of avoiding exercise, I have <drum roll please> lost 7 pounds!! No kidding. Makes no sense, but hey, I'm not arguing. I'm going to enter it as my new interim weight in my .sig and pretend it's permanent.

Congrats on the idea of using Herbie's house while he's gone. This ex-relationship is working out pretty well, don't you think?

Wabbit, if you don't get some cold weather pretty soon, we may have to converge on your house and give you a swirly

Fondly,
Kiwi
