Sorry gal, I have been MIA. I am feeling grouchy, petty, overwhelmed, worried, restless, ungrateful etc again. Maybe it is almost close to time of the month again. I need to get myself together, stay calm and pray. I hate when I feel like this, it reminds me of who I used to be and I refuse to ever go back there again. I will be back later once I get my mind and emotions under control

Hey, guys. Got back from my usual Friday stuff. Anyway, I weighed again today and those 2 pounds were gone, but still 2 above my low. And tomorrow is Halloween. We're going trickertreatin' tomorrow evening and then we have a big Halloween party at my friend's house. I would really be lying if I said I was going to do good. I already know that I won't. BUT, I'll try not to gorge. My friend has been making cupcakes and cookies and all that good but bad stuff. I went to Hudson's today and they had costumes and Halloween stuff for 90% off. I couldn't find Ashley a costume for next year. I found Boogie one for next year(A spider) for $1.50. How cheap is that?! We "were" planning on him going as a hunter since he already has lots of camoflauge stuff here. But then I found a costume that will fit him now that he likes better, also a $1.50. It's an orange suit and hood with Count Dracula on it and bats. I got Ashley some funky Halloween socks for 50 cents, a glow stick, a lighted lantern that makes noise for under a buck,etc...Anyway, then we went on to the grocery store,etc..so now I'm killing time. Robby doesn't get home for probably another hour or maybe 2. I don't know where we'll eat for supper, but today will be 100% legal. For BF, I had leftover coleslaw and 1 1/2 hamburger patties. Snack-(while in Walmart)was 1 cheese cube, 1 triscuit, and 1 small slim jim. Lunch(about 2:45) was a LC shake. Supper will probably be the Friday usual at Lapinata's. Chicken fajitas, refried beans, sour cream, and guacomole.

Dear Monet, I am so sorry about your pottery. It's heartbreaking when you put so much of yourself into something and it gets messed up. I hope once it's glued you can hardly tell if at all.

Heart...enjoy! If you know you are going to eat OP I think the key is to enjoy and not have the guilt.

So temptation day is here - hubby will be bringing home the trick-or-treat candy tonight, and it will be in the house for 24 hours. Even though the candy corn made me sick to my stomach, I still think I will be tempted when the Halloween bowl comes out tomorrow night. So I am going to get 2 soy bars or Odwalla bars, and if I really can't stop myself, I will tear into them instead of the candy. Those, plus a water bottle, should take care of any temptation. Once again, I have to jet on outta here, so BOO to all!! -Ruby

Wow..it sure is quiet around here! I have probably over done it royally today...but then, maybe not. I went to Publix with Tom and shopped, mainly I pointed to what I wanted him to pick up and he did all the pushing, picking carrying, etc. I then came home and ended up taking a two hour nap. Then, I went to Costco with him, and we did the same thing. I pointed, he did all the picking, carrying etc. We got a rotisserie chicken at Costco for dinner and fixed broccoli to go with it. We just finished. I took a heavy duty pain pill before the trip to Costco, so I am feeling pretty good...not sure if it is the hydrocodon, or the walking that is making me feel better. I was feeling rather depressed.

My neighbor, the massage therapist, was at a flower show working today. (they do chair massage at these kinds of things) She brought me a wastepaper basket full of cut flowers. There are dozens of roses, and some kind of unusual lily, and hydrangeas. Its awfully pretty and I do love having the cut flowers around the room.

Eating today has been ok, not stellar, but not too bad either.

B- two eggs, and 1/2 a ww bagel.
S- oat bran muffin, prunes, apricots (3 ea.)
L- plain yogurt with agave, and 1/2 banana
S- a bit of chocolate froz. yogurt at Costco
D- 1 thigh, 1/2 breast rotisserie chicken, broccoli, cranberry juice

I noticed that UT won, as did Georgia. I wonder where BOB is...I thought she would be on here to let everyone know! Auburn has not played yet...nor has LSU.

Off to get some rest!

It's a little after 6 on Sunday morning and I'm too wound up to sleep. I'm heading out to get the morning papers soon--got to check on all my candidates and their opponents' ads.

After church I will most likely spend the day preparing charges of an ethics violation against an opponent. She has been running ads that are full of blatant and documentable lies. Spent most of yesterday obtaining the documentation--will write the complaint today--hold a press conference tomorrow. Is it Wednesday yet?

I did get to take some time out to watch the Auburn game! (Come on, politics is politics, but this is FOOTBALL season! All political activity stops for three hours while the game is on!

Monet--I'd like to reserve a room at "Spa Monet" for the SEC Championship!

BOB--I'll be there--how about you? Who do you have left on your schedule? We are off next week, then UGA and BAMA. Two very tough games that will matter to the BCS, but not to the SEC West--we are IN Baby!

I hope everyone else is doing well--sorry I can't respond, but got to go get those papers!

Good morning! I slept well, probably due to all that walking yesterday. I am still bothered by some aches and pains that are rather severe, but will hopefully go away. The worst is obviously from the hernia repair. I am guessing it is the stitches dissolving and pulling some. It hurts mostly when I move...

Breakfast was the usual: an oat bran muffin, prunes and apricots, and coffee with cream. That really keeps the old system regular!

They have been working on the street just outside our subdivision lately. Yesterday, I was excited to see that they have almost finished the new curbs and sidewalks! The sidewalks are nice...wide enough for two to walk side by side ...and will go the entire two miles from one end of the road to the other! I am SO excited! I will be walking on them as soon as possible. Maybe even some today! The weather is gorgeous...perfect for some leisurely strolling.

FILLISE: Ok, when is it? Just keep in mind that your room, the one downstairs, is now occupied by James and his menagerie, but the upstairs office still has a bed in it. You will just have to share the bath with Laura...scary I know. You know you are always welcome!

Good morning. Did everyone turn their clocks back? Got up and then fell asleep in the recliner again. Steve brought me some sour dough toast. Ahhh Sunday!!! Lazy, lazy! But I will have to do some laundry at some point today. I can't believe how good I've been this week end on eating... LOL! I made spraggetti and meatballs last night and didn't even touch the yummy smelling garlic bread. Think tonight will be pork chops. I hope to start back walking tomorrow. If it doesn't rain. Well hope everyone is having a good week end.

BOB: I am going out for a walk in a minute, then I am going to do the laundry, mop the floors, wash the dishes, and wash all the windows. After that I am going out to weed the garden. When shall I expect you??? (don't threaten...I may take you up on it! )
